I'm just coming back to the game and I am looking for a High sec mining corp. Any ideas where I can find a high sec mining corp?

If you mean killing the miners who are doing the ice mining, yes.

Have to protect that precious natural resource or else one day we'll reach Peak Ice.

There are loads of them.
Usually 1 to 3 man corps. Its a counter exploit to the griefer war dec exploit.

You could try the recruitment tab from the corporation panel. I don't think there are many pure mining corporation in empire though. Either they went to null, where the mining is a lot better, to become a mining pet. Or the miners are a subdivision of a bigger industry corp for protection.

See, that's the problem. The wardec is not to grief, but to get juicy defenseless targets. Get enough miners together and you do something about it. Get even more miners together and you can pay someone else to do something about it. The problem is though that many carebears are too much of a scrooge to see the bigger picture.
