I was WONDERING when someone else would realize this too.Lol

RL Pirate Factions tend to not last too long. Just ask Edward Teach.

Sansha has control over jove technology and makes clones out of peanut butter.

Until the peanut butter to clone machine has been found and destroyed sansha will continue its incursions

They don't stop because killing the mothership and stopping them means no more 150m an hour in high sec. Can't have that when I'm on target to afford a new supercap every week.

The Sansha have only been attacking for what, less than a year?

How about that stupid Damsel *****. How many times per month is she distressed and rescued ?

Sheesh, some people have no patience.

Sansha are abducting people from planets in Empire. They presumably use these folks to fly the ships that Incursioners farm (another evil of this group). So until they run out of people to abduct....

Also Sansha are not pirates by todays standards. They are huge, with a large manufacturing base (they own several systems) and getting tech from the most advanced race in EVE.

It would be like the Somali pirates owning half of Africa (with decent enough manufacturing) back in the days of sail, and getting tech from the US of today.

Even at the height of his power with a small flotilla 'Blackbeard' can hardly be described as a 'faction'. Piracy in the Caribbean, though it ran for over 150 years, it never consolidated the area for itself, content on a few pirate-bases, preying on the traders and playing either cat-and-mouse or hide-and-seek with the military navies

Compare that to the the Barbary pirates who managed to dominate the western Mediterranean Sea for two centuries, raiding shipping and selling over a million people into slavery. They even managed to stick around (though throroughly diminished) for another two centuries against the professional navies like the English, long after the Caribbean had been pacified. Sansha's Nation is a lot more like this kind of piracy, operating from Stain. Ofcourse you'd have to forget for a second the fact the players are farming them silly over there.

It's funny to see the similarities between the rise and fall of piracy in the Caribbean and the development of null-sec though

Gotta clear the planets of civilians before DUST comes out somehow.

Nerfing High-sec is never the answer. It is the question. The answer is 'YES'.

All I really did was make a semi-humorous statement that would've sent anyone not 'in the know' to Wiki. That's really all.

Damsel is a Crashwh0re. No matter how many times you 'save her' she just runs away back to that ******* for his Crash and X-instinct.

But seriously, CCP said the Incursion system was designed to handle ANY faction's NPC's. So i imagine in the future they'll change it up and introduce other faction's rats, or other scenarios with other factions.

Maybe Sleepers will start attacking? =)
