Top match is Hans Jagerblitzen (69%) and Trebor. Bottom match is The Mittani and Psychobitch. I was going to vote for Trebor, but now I'll have a look at what this Jagerblitzen has to say.

Why choose the copy when you can vote for the original name-brand reasonable guy? Twisted

I guess am nothing but a copy cat now. But hey, what's an election without a little slander between friends?

I think it's a very cool toy, thanks Dierdra!

To you ranting "stupid questions" guys, please consider this is a nice initiative no matter what, I think it was made clear that it does not have a professional or scientific approach. It's a nice initiative and Dierdra put alot of work into making this. Actually it did not influence me but confirm that I'm voting for the right candidate :)

Every year the question can be polished, refined.

I appreciate the time and effort DV put into this and the fact that it may point a few candidates out to voters who do not have the time to sift through the wheat and chaff of the campaign platforms.

-1 Low blow.

Hans has a lot more to offer than a clone of you.

Personally would like to see the both of you on the council.

EDIT: To make this post on topic. Thanks for the service, but hopefully some additional work can be done coming up with questions before hand. I hate to say it because I know it would be a mess on some levels, but perhaps you could post the questions in advance and get feedback.

Garbage in, garbage out, a discussion of why you shouldn't use Vote Match for anything important, much less your CSM vote.

The system is flawed, but the data remains useful, don't rely purely on the result, but instead look at the top few suggestions to see if they vibe with your way of thinking. *read* the nuanced positions, god I think I had to clarify everything -
e.g. Local chat I'd love to see die as an intel tool, but only after it's replaced with a better intel tool and hopefully some strategic intel providing structures in 0.0

Skye Aurora is a 7 year old Girl Who Wants to be on the CSM! Unfortunately, the Lawyers say you have to be 21 - oh well.

Actually I'd posted two threads asking for question suggestions - one on the eve general forums here on eve-o, and one on failheap. I also posted the provisional selection of questions on the FHC thread for feedback.

Except you had the exact same criticisms from multiple people last year, and from myself (at least) in the announcement thread this year. You can blame it on the FHC focus group but if they gave you terrible questions last year why would you go back?

This. The questions were in many cases almost word-for-word identical to last year, too, so I'm not sure why you asked for suggestions.

about 25% are brand new, and quite a few other questions got reworded. I didn't pick 40 brand new ones because
1) there weren't 40 good suggestions
2) many of the old questions proved to be decently divisive

I asked both here and on FHC since I wanted to reach out to more than just one community. I'm not blaming FHC (or any other groups), I'm simply pointing out that I can't just magically pull questions out of thin air that everyone is going to be happy with. It's a process over time to test and refine questions. I've already decided on some changes for next year, for example.

Dierda, great service. Thank you. I used this last time, and I have found this to be very useful again in narrowing down the candidates.

I love the ability to focus on issues that are key to my playing style and see where the candidates stand on these. Keep up the good work. I hope you will continue this service and improve it for the future in light of some of the criticism you have received.

Any colour you like.

Thanks for providing this service. While there are of course issues with how to value the answers to some of the questions it does give a good insight into the views of the various candidates. I found a few I agree with that I actually knew little about.

The most useful part was the comment section where I actually found I could agree with arguments made despite me and the candidate showing as completely opposite on the voting scale. Mainly due to the scale being a little subjective. The comments gives the candidates the ability to explain their reasoning which greatly helps in evaluating them and comparing them to my personal views.

After doing the Vote Match I now find myself with 5 candidates I need to look closer at, and of those 3 are people I would not have considered before doing the test.

haha, well i hope that doesnt make me a negativist :)
i do however believe that you shouldnt change things just because you can change them. I believe alot of eve is awsome, which is the reason why i play it with so much luv that i run for CSM. Also i feel alot of the niche parts of EVE shouldnt get full attention as they are not catering the needs of many. Which is always a issue if u like to make money in a compagny and have limited resources.

just saw the sprint bord and scrum in ccp tube, awsome way of revising your project management into actually delivering products too eve, gl on that

maybe i should say, SAY NO, vote core ;)
