Can anybody sell me a PLEX for 280mil?

Hey there

I've been gone for 8 months and just activated "hours for plex" because I thought I had 680mil on my account, but only have 280mil...

I can't afford to buy a PLEX and I don't have time to sell all of my ore.

If anybody can sell me a plex for 280mil I would love you very much

I really want to get back into EVE but can't afford to spend $15 to buy gametime.

The best I can do is give you my ore, but I don't know how much it is worth anymore.

There's 3.5hrs left on my account so I don't have much time >_<

Oh my default assumption is that this is a scam, i'm just playing along in the odd chance he is genuine.

Here's a list of my ore:

fiery kernite: 377
golden omber: 40,107
hemorphite: 300
kernite: 10,531
omber: 8,700
pure jaspet: 378

Some are doubled because they're at different stations.

I don't know how much it's worth. I haven't even checked prices myself yet.

I only have my retriever other than my ore and I need to keep that.

I was in a carebear corp and only did high-sec mining. Then we got war dec'd three times and I lost the ambition to mine anymore... so I quit.

I checked Median Buy Price at EVE Central for all your ore and it comes to a grand total of 23,071,943.49 ISK. A bit too little, sorry mate.

I checked Jita prices and some of the more obscure ores have had a sudden price spike, but i'm sure its just a coincidence.

Are you an Industrialist who uses large amounts of Construction Components? Looking for ways to reduce costs? Then I can help you!

Seriously, if you cant afford $15 then maybe you should think about doing something constructive in RL rather than playing spaceship pixel games.

You know, one of those things where you trade your services or skills for $$$.

'just earn more money' is such a bullshit head in ass suggestion. It's not always an option for people, or they need to use that money for more important things like foor and rent rather than videogames.

OP. Even if you have used your 'hours for plex' by now. Next time you CAN afford to resub to eve you can petition CCP to reactivate your hours for plex. Just explain this situation (you used the hours for plex but found you didn't have enough ISK to buy a PLEX), They are quite understanding as long as you don't abuse the privelige.

The other option is to start a trial account and try to work up enough for a PLEX during your trial time.

Finally, while everyone is free to play as they wish. Doing pure mining is never going to make you much ISK in game and soon becomes nothing more than a chore for the majority of players. If you looked into trading, mission running, incursions or even some factional warfare then you can make ISK easier, freeing up your time to go and do something more fun like exploration or even a bit of PVP, while easily affording those monthly PLEX. There's far more to EVE than mining and I encourage everyone to play around more. You might even like it.

Petition it so you can re-subscribe, saying you thought you had more ISK than you did. They'll be understanding. I'm sure it happens a lot.

Then get back in your barge, restart training to a hulk, and get mining. Minerals are up!
Also, if you need to raise cash in a hurry, contract all that ore to me for 22mil ISK and I'll take it off your hands. That's like two, possibly three L4 missions, depending on what kind of loot I pull in.

OP, sorry to break this to you, but even if you HAD the ISK for the first month, you would need to be mining in that retriever for about 200-300hours a month (~7 or so hours a day) just to be paying off the PLEX each month after that.

Mining to pay for gametime is about as soul crushing as it can possibly get.

What kind of crappy L4 missions are you running? All the >5k LP missions will net me around 20+ m in bounties, salvage and loot.

It's like watching people debate which kiddie-coaster is the best in the playland side of a theme park when in over in the main park there are a half-dozen real roller coasters going twice as fast and ten times as high.

20M isk is 10-15 minutes in an anomaly on bounties alone in null sec. And that's not even in a haven or sanctum.

Get out of the shallow end of the pool and treat yourself to the rest of the game :)
