Ok. You changed item names again. No patch notes that I can see.

Is there a definitive list available? Or did someone go through the database and just wing it? Seriously. Is there an actual method being used here?

Could we get this sudden desire to rename existing mods done and out of the way? Doing this in dribs and drabs is really rather aggravating. I'm going through and finding out that "Core Defence" rigs are now "Core Defense" rigs. So you went from the British spelling to the American?

so what else changed? Implants? Got a list?

Although I do agree that the failure to update us on whats being changed is BS, you can easily find out for yourself.

Dig through the static data dump like the rest of the developers. Use a script to compare it to a older version if your lazy.

DB dump 349247 contains incorrect typeNames for missiles...

For example, in previous dump:
typeID = 203 typeName = 'Trauma Cruise Missile'

in dump 349247:
typeID = 203 typeName = 'Scourge Cruise Missile'

It was mentioned in the devblog comments for that blog, that they'd be changing trauma to scourge (across the board)

Though this hasn't happened in the client yet.

I'm seeing the Tornado and Naga there. (I've not checked the rest).

Patch between my typeid.csv files below. (Just typeid, typename, typeid). it's 1.1, then 1.5, fed into diff

http://www.fuzzwork.co.uk/resources/crucible11to15patch.txt

(using my conversion of the DB to mysql. so it's possible something went walkabout inbetween)

Wait ... what? What's the point of that? So we can change the databases yet again?

@CCP For God's sake just name the bloody things "Kinetic" ok? End. Done.

I'll be honest here. I've thought about writing an open source trading app based on what I've experienced as a trader. But the idea of having to supporting the app through pointless gyrations like this just completely killed that off.

If you go take a look at the 'renaming stuff' blog comments, you'll find a fair number of people were vocal about getting it changed back.
