Why armaments not showing on ship?

I'm doing the tutorials and my ship the agent gave as reward ( and the other one he gave me too, come to think of it) will not show the guns I have mounted on it. They are guns (250 mm gatling or some such) and not missile launchers. They are fitted - I used the fitting screen to place them and have gone out to kill stuff so they are there and they work, they just are not modelled on the exterior of the ship I'm flying. Why is that?

Might be a glitch. Try restarting client or clearing your cache if that doesnt work. Clearing you cache is done by pressing escape and going to reset settings tab.

Different graphics settings can affect when they show up too.

On my laptop, with the graphics settings pretty low, my turrets won't show up unless I zoom right up to the ship.

I honestly don't know if its the laptop graphics card or the low settings however.

Try zooming in on your ship and see if they show up when your eyeballing the scratches on the hull.

Re started the client, cleared the cache. Didn't help. Undocked and looked at the ship as close-up as I could get, nothing seen.

I checked out to see if I could see guns on other ships... nope. Very strange....

Never mind, I can see some now, they first started showing up on a couple of rifters, then other ships started showing, then mine sprouted a set.
