Hello to you the reader. Well then, about me: This is my 7th MMO (WOW, STO, SWTOR, DAOC, SWG and Rift). Before coming to this game i did alot of research, doesn't feel like it was enough though. What is it i'm looking for in EVE? I'm very excited about mining, i have always enjoyed gathering in previous mmo's and feel like this is the first were gathering isn't just an ends to a means. I started this guy yesterday and already cranked out the industry tutorials and got my t1 industrial ship, once i realized i couldn't use it on a trial account, i upgraded. What i'm looking for in a Corp? A group of people that enjoy the game, have fun and just want to go do something together. My ideal home would be a corp with a ventrilo, or something similar, not only do i hate typing but i find it puts a more social aspect into the mmo. I love structure i.e. scheduled events, sadly i am on the road during the week and my schedule can get crazy but up till last week i was raiding in a different game and didn't miss any raids. And i am pretty flexible on the weekends. I currently only have 100k+ sp due to my limited time in the game but i feel as if i'm picking it up fast, i have noticed alot of corps have sp minimums. And if your part of those corps but still reading ask yourself this, could this noob be worth a gamble? I think so. So feel free to hit me up, i seem to have pretty good internet this week and would love to sit down and have a chat with u and your fellow corpsmates and find out if i'm a good fit for u. So lets cut the chatter and go mine some ore until we have ISK coming out

Chen Kobe uses 'Wall Of Text'. It's super effective

on a more serious note: Just like in most other MMOs, mining only gets a fraction of the income that shooting things does. The only exception are well-organized mining ops in 0.0, which would require you to fly a hulk

I should buy an Ishtar.
