Not talking about "respec" or "unlearn." Just flat out, "pretend I never learned this." No refund of SP or anything, just make it go away. This might seem like something nobody would ever want, but there are people who have commented several times in the skill tree overhaul thread that they do not want their character sheets crapped up with a bunch of skills they have no intent to use. Some people are just OCD that way, and neatness is a virtue.

Of course you would also have to prevent trashing a skill if it had skills that depend on it, so you would have to trash everything that depends on it all the way up the tree first. And there might have to be a 30-day undo window when you could go somewhere and click another button get the lost skill back, before the mini-lobotomy becomes permanent (just some sort of guard rail for drunk sessions or account hacks).

encourage them to seek help. You should be in the training window for only a few moments to put in skills. If unwanted skills are eating away at you from the inside on a screen you see not so frequently its time to seek help.


Or....have kids. You learn to let small crap slide when you have them. You have enough real major issues to work with to not care as much lol.
