I just got the mental image of CCP being ran by the guys in Spaceballs.

I'm going to hold my tongue on this one for now. However, I admit I did expect more substance from this 'announcement'. Hopefully, the positive steps that CCP had discussed with the CSM in our recent meetings are still on track.

That said, I entirely respect and understand the reactions of the rest of the CSM.

When I hear "moments that define history" I think new ships, not shinier captains quarters.

Apparently "moments that define history" means "we'll fix the stuff we broke"

What are you mad at? It's a crystal clear message from the high-honcho that we'll get precisely nothing. And that somewhen soon.

So exciting!

Seriously, get a press person or something on your payroll. If you already do, feed him or her to the fishes and get someone competent.

Less than two months out from the new patch and nothing is decided yet. Sounds like a plan!

More empty words.
Not even words about content, just words about words that they might utter to us in the future.

Please CCP, stop telling us that you're going to tell us stuff someday.
Just tell us what's going on, and more importantly show us.

Well, this certainly could have been played better. Hopefully we'll see some real details go public soon. Personally, I think we're seeing a play for more time when it would be better to just say some very simple things. The fact that those things are not being said is disappointing.

Just a data point for you all: none of this week's devblogs were shown to the CSM in advance.

2007-2010: CCP Game Designer | 2011-2013: CSM6 Delegate & CSM7 Chairman
