The issue with 0.0 is simple and it's nothing todo with local.

The issue is plex's (DED not pilot extensions). In the old days most player making isk were in the belts you jump in warp to the belt and had a good chance of pew.

Now adays every one is running plexes so they see your probes on scan months before your able to warp even with the most pro scanners.

remove plex and push players back into the belts.

The issue is not plexs...its just that you're a noob who cant find a fight....i have no problem getting fights every single day...they are there to be had if you want them...there are plenty of others out there looking for "good fights" as well who are more than happy to pew pew......its just that your version of a "good fight" is ganking some poor sap in a belt in a ratting ship.

There is nothing wrong with the economy...its a living, breathing monster.....i hate to use the meme, but....adapt or die.

Removing local is the stupidest idea ive ever heard...it will NOT result in more GF's.....instead it will only result in one sided gank fests becoming more and more prevalent and actual fairly even fights becoming rarer and rarer...only skilless plonkers would even consider removing local as a good idea.

Eve lacks of reasons to go out in a small gang other than :goodfights: and :letswait2hoursonthegateandprayanoncloakiejumpsthrouh:

There should be moons to rob of today's production, mining ops to gank, production lines to stop, planetary colonies to rob and freighters to kill

All those goals perfectly achievable by groups of 5-50 players in ops of 1-3 hours

also pve should me much more like pvp. Why in seven hells does this dread gurista battleship stay when the hull breaches? He should try to escape! And I as a player should want to bring a tackle to hold him (could be that 3 weeks old guy my corp recruited yesterday)

plexes should be absolutely impossible solo and hard in a group of 5-8 people

so if maybe 6 man goon gang jumps in the system to rob our precious tech we should already be in the right ships to kick their Ass

that's how to improve the eve economy at large

I guess you haven't been to nullsec recently. You don't need any probes to find the anoms everyone is ratting in. Just hit the analyze button and you can see everything so long as you are not in a pod.

I have had my carrier tackled by someone who was not even in the system, entered the system while my carrier was still in warp, and arrived at the anomaly before my carrier had time to turn around and align to a celestial.

So no. You are dead wrong. That is not the "problem" with nullsec.

The real problem with nullsec is killmail-whores who just want easy ganks but GOD FORBID they lose a ship - no, run away! So the result is a vagabond, a couple hurricanes, a cynabal and a sabre picking off a hulk, and then running like hell at the first drake they see, pretending that being chased out of someone's Sov is what they meant all along and isn't this great fun.
