I wish vote mechanics were more along the lines of Single Transfer Vote. One could safely vote for newer members etc.

Could CCP confirm whether I can vote with each account I have? I have not seen this mentioned anywhere.

Yes, you get one vote per each active account that is older than 30 days (60 days if it's a buddy account).

Correct, the limit is one vote per account, not person.

Also of note, for this election we have made a slight change to voting mechanics. If your account is a buddy account, your account will have to reach an age of 60 days and be active and paying in order to vote. This change was implemented to prevent any potential electoral fraud with PLEX for buddy accounts.



Your login in SSL encrypted (ie. https) but then it kicks you to non-SSL encrypted pages to continue. Anyway you can fix this?

All of your community.eveonline.com pages should be SSL encrypted anyway after you log in!

Currently deployed, I paid to resub so I could vote (this CSM election still affects me, as I'll be home well before the next CSM election). Waited the obligatory day to place my vote, and I'm getting some message about how my account "was put to ‘active’ status in the last 4 hours" and is excluded from voting, and now I'm getting the same message only it's 28 hours instead of 4.

Why is it adding time to a supposed countdown timer (that should be expired anyways)? I'd like to place my vote, please and thank you.

We added a timer to prevent 4 hours for plex accounts being able to vote without being reactivated; unfortunately technical issues meant that it can take up to 28 hours for an account to be able to vote. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Maybe I'm just being a complete moron, but I'm not seeing any option to actually vote. I see all the candidates, but no interaction to throw my support behind someone. My account is older than 30 days, but I manually reactivated a bit less than a month ago (think I had a few days down between subs). Any ideas?
