I voted as I'm sure a lot of people did. Who I voted for is of course, my business. In every election however, I've wondered why it is that the candidates real face doesn't show? Their game (player) face does however. What your game face looks like matters not me. In the future elections I think the possible candidates real face should be shown with whatever game face they may or may not pick to show. Pros or Cons to this?

We call that "internet security." (What you have to do is check out the photos after the big todo in Iceland. Everybody's too drunk to care about internet security, or the fact they look like complete dopes. That's where I first saw Mitt, geek that he is, acting tough drinkiing a large beer as though it was an accomplishement...for him it probably was.)

Edit: Okay. Here is me being me for no particular reason other than it's the only me I can be. Stephen being Stephen.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Because people are less inclined to vote for someone who is fat and/or ugly unless they themselves are fat and/or ugly and that would considerably influence the chances of some (most) candidates?

Trebor looks pretty much like his avatar, and his nickname is his real name backwards. If anything, this points to real lack of creativity Lol

Posting with face. Here is me, hanging a giant golden monocle on CCP awards wall, just under 2009 MMO of the Year.
I am kinda crouched down, and it makes me look a tad fatter than I am, not that I am thin....

Gotta say, you sure don't look like someone who would actually fork over a plex for a vote Pirate

looks are deceiving. You create an image, usually wrong one, about the person you see..

In EVE you vote for an ideas, not for your imaginations.

I was actually saying I am not at all surprised by his appearance. He looks like a used car salesman.

I'm not convinced. I see the reasoning behind it and yeah, it is good to remember there are real people behind those avatars that are often very different to their in-game personas. But, there is a certain amount of recognition in the avatars. When I voted, I looked for the faces I've learned a lot about. I wouldn't recognise half of them from their real pictures P

I prefer your EVE-Apperance! Big smile Even we might be the same age.

On a more serious note i don´t think that RL Apperance is very important for a internet spaceship game. I measure ppl on their IG behaviour and posting habits. I don´t care what they do IRL as i don´t know them IRL.

Well they play EVE in Real Life Big smile

It can make you dizzy, i know it has made many people confused. As calling "gankers" psychopaths etc. But in the end you chose what you are doing and you have fun by destroying other people hopes. So go figure.

"You" is meant in general sense.

Well be convinced. I did vote but only because of what they state they would or could possibly do. I do hope that is what you meant by I'm not convinced.

If your willing and what to be a CSM then you should show your true face or at least a link that leads to it. Even in RL politics your face is seen and in voting for a CSM in this game it is still a poltical thing. Besides, the avatars they make are in some ways a representation of who they are or want to be.

I meant I'm not convinced their real life faces should be shown when voting. It seems too "out of game" for me; I know them as their in-game characters and their platforms. Their real world faces would have no meaning for me. I think The Mittani - the avatar - far better encapsulates the character of the character than it's real world counterpart does P
