Racial Battlecruisers Concerns

As someone with Battlecruiser V who flies Gallente, Minmatar, and Caldari Battlecruisers regularly, I'm a little concerned about the skilltree changes. Am I going to be receiving Racial Battlecruiser V for every race because I have BC V now, or am I going to have to retrain BC V for almost every race?

Seriously though, I believe one CCP guy said you'd get all 4 races.

Most likely you get the skillpoints in BC5 back and can reallocate them. Like when learning skills were removed.

So yeah, maybe you will have to invest some training afterwards if you want them all on Lvl5 again.

But hey, finally something useful to learn. Big smile

Have you tried reading the blog and the comment thread attached to it?

So what about people who have BC IV? Iv read through the dev blog and haven't found a clear answer for this. Will i get all four racial BC skills at Lvl IV (this would be odd as i only have the prerequisite cruiser skills for Gal and Minm) . Seems like it would make more sense to reimburse the skill points to do with as i wish.

No, it doesn;t because then you will only beable to fly one race's BC as before, people who can fly all 4 race's will not be happy.

The 2 most likely options are either give everyone all 4 racial BC skills at the same level they had normal BC at, or give people racial BC at the at same level they had normal BC at, but only for the races for which they have racial cruiser 4.

I am having similar concerns, so popped BC 5 in today. Only thing I dislike about the change, that even with change at BC 4 and its split into Racial Battlecruiser....you now got 4 racial BC skills. What if you want them to 5 because all tier 2 battlecruiser are awesome? Opps, thats now 20 DAYS a piece to get the skills to 5 if you decide to fly a Harbringer, Hurricane, Drake, and Myrmidon. So...total skill plan is now 80 days longer for those that don't have maxed battlecruiser skills yet Straight. Yeah, not such a fun idea to change something so trivial as battlecruiser and destroyers Ugh

You have to have Cruiser 3 to fly a BC anyway. You have to have Cruiser 5 to fly a command ship.

If you could fly it before racial BC, you can fly it after racial BC, and the only decision point will be whether you have racial cruiser 3 or higher. End of story. Quit whining.
