Ok I have an idea that if implemented would sure make dealing with massive amounts of buy orders in corp A lot easier.

In the corp deliveries Tab u have the option to Choose Range and region. You then get a rather long list of Systems that you

you have items in. But you do not have the ability to search those systems for any kind of item.

TO do that you have to go back to the Search section of Assets for corp and then pick deliveries from the left drop down.

The thing is its just brings up ALL systems that have that item in it.. On that list there is no Region name associated with

any of successful searches.. SO you end up having to be in a station in that region and then kind of go off the station count to

see if they are in your region. Or right click each one and set destination to see if they are in your region.


So the question is overall

(1) Can we add a region search option to the Deliveries tab that gives us the option to search for quantities

(2) Can we add a Region tab in Assets Search tab for corp..

Either one would solve the problem.

Here's a UI problem that I posted about when it was created, but hopefully this time someone might see it.

When you guys added that system for easily adding new languages to the game you added an annoying graphical glitch where stargates now display as:

Stargate (K25-Whatever) instead of just K-IG4U.

This is silly because now in the R click menu you get:

Stargate>Stargate (K25-22). It's redundant. <-- Never mind this part was actually fixed THANK YOU, but the following still needs to be fixed (sorry, there was no way for me to know this because like all cool EVE players I don't play EVE).

And in the overview you get:

Stargate (KAR-22)
Stargate (KUR-54)
Stargate (IS-323)
Stargate (GAY-69)

In fact, unless you have the name field expanded you can't even see the name of the stargate. It's super annoying because nothing else in the game is like this (ie stations, planets). There's no Station (Caldari Business Tribunal) in the screen. It also shows this way in space.

Is there any way this can be fixed?

Please note any reference to solar system names are purely fictional and any resemblance to real life CCP employees is purely a coincidence.

Though here are some thought:
- Rclick menus. Why do we have different options everywhere? Why not unify them? like try to send an evemail to a ceo/founder of a corp. When you are rclicking on the toon in the corp attributes you have no option to send him anything, that's a reduced menu. When you click showinfo and use the context menu on the upperleft corner, you can send him the mail, whatever. Why not having the complete menu when rclicking the toon on the attributes?
- Blueprint. Why do i have copy/ME/PE/reversengineer options on a BPC? Why does the gui allow me to select slots which are uncapable of manufacturing the current item? Why not automatically selecting a slot? Usually both slots are the same.
- Rclicks. Why can't i have the "find in contracts" on an item in the market quickbar? Why do i have to drag it to the chat channel, just to have that option?
- Why doesn't the GUI remembers my slot selection preferences? Like using a "same region" selector for a blueprint task, it always defaults to the "blueprint location" even when that's impossible to do, because the station doesn't have the lines, why the POS next to it, has.
- Highlight my _own_ (also my corp's) market orders. And allow other corporation traders to manipulate my corp orders. Corporations can't work together on the market, because only the originator of the corp market order is allowed to bump it.

these things seems so logical, when you actually play the game's these perspectives... i think these things will still need like 2-3 years to implement :)

A couple of little irritating UI things I've noticed, and random quality of life things that'd be awesome:
  • Could you fix the ordering of the folders in the bookmark window? Underneath 'Corp locations' they should have the same ordering as they do in the People & Places window, but they appear to be pretty much random
  • Labels for probes vanish when you mouse over them on the scanning interface, unless you do it really quickly. This can make it very hard to center your view on a probe
  • When you mouse over a planet that has many moons on the solar system map, the planet is often not visible as the list seems to be cut off at a certain number of items
  • When you mouse over a bookmark on the solar system map, you often can't interact with it (left click to focus or right click to bring up menu) if there is a scan result on top of it. Which is very irritating.
  • Would there be any chance of being able to set a colour on bookmarks? As a wormhole dweller, there are often 30+ bookmarks on the solar system map, and identifying a given bookmark on that map is nigh-on impossible.

Once I got bored and looked into this (and had it working), but it's actually not that easy.

The owner info is not sent to the client (and we don't want it to be), so the only way to know what are your orders is to compare them with the "my orders" list... which would require a lot of extra trips to the server, which we are not fond of.
Is there a ID tag for each market order? If so, could you cross reference the ID tags under "My Orders" with those in the list you are viewing in the market client side instead of going back to the server?

Probably doesn't work this way, but I figured every market order would probably have a unique ID for sanity.
The IDs under "My Orders" are only fetched when you actually open that tab (to reduce server calls, to reduce load, to prevent lag). So when you open the market the client doesn't have that information and in general we don't want to call the server asking for information that the player isn't necessarily going to use. But CCP karkur is going to consult with the server programmers on this request.

You could load "My Orders" once and cache on client for several hours, only updating list when player creates/deletes order. That would not add much load. Also you dont really need to worry about IDs of orders which have expired, since such orders would not show up in Market Details anyway, so having expired IDs on list would not matter.

That said, I oppose the idea of coloring your own orders because that would increase competition on trading too much. Blink

- The right click menus should be the same (I think, the one on the corp ui is probably not working properly).
- I added proper menu to the quickbar items, so you should have "find in contracts" in those menus soon
- I just fixed the "blueprint location" thing, should be out on Tuesday

I just had a chat with corp mate and we basically had similar thoughts at the same time.

Currently in the main character overview the number of skillpoints is displayed. However, this amount is only updated when you pause / switch skill training. Can it be updated more often? Perhaps once per session or day?

The situation occured where on my overview 91.9 M SP were displayed, I paused / resumed skill training and the displayed SP jumped to 92.517M, which was rather undesirable as it was 17k over my clone limit.

edit: Also there is the pause skill training before CJing / plugging implants issue.

Especially i like the button on 'modify order' window. I missed that so much!

Oh, CCP karkur I would also than you very much. You actively participate in the dev blog comments, share with us what you think and so on. Unfortunately there is not much of CCP devs, that do that. Usually they post dev blog and thats all, no more nothing. Maybe they read, but they don't post much, sometimes nothing.

Clicking EVEGate edit bio destroyed my carefully crafted art masterpiece and character count can't count right in EVE Forums...but I am still pleased
