POS settings - what am I doing wrong?

I have a problem and I need some help.

I own a POS and I want to give access to someone from another corp to get inside the pos. I've set the password and it's working so he can get in.

However, today he typed the wrong password and bounced off the pos and nearly lost a Tengu to pos guns.

I have changed corp standings to his corp to +10 and changed corp standings to the character to +10. When I click on the character it now shows me that his corp standings are +10

The POS is set up to defend with two settings (a) at war and (b) if standings are lower than +1. Our corp is not at war with his corp (obviously) and as I said, the standings to the character in question are +10

Yet, as soon as he goes outside the shields with these standings, the pos attacks him. We tried logging and re-logging and actually tried everything we can think of and the POS still attacks him.

What have I done wrong here?

You need to change the setting when POS attacks.

Control Tower Manager, Defense tab.

Test the new setting with your friend while he is in a noobship.

Not sure I understand you. I have the setting on the defense tab to shoot a people who are under +1. This character is +10 and so is his corp. I guess I could also add his alliance and see if that works.... O?

Good idea to test in a noob ship. We did that. He got insta'd.

What I'm wondering is if this a bug or not. It really looks like I have everything set up right.

Ok... this is weird. Yesterday it was blowing him up and today it's not. The settings have not changed.

The only thing that I can think of is that something happens at DT.

I don't understand it but I'm happy it's working.
