*** CCP how about a Incursion Transport Ship ***

So lately i have had the pleasure of running incursions for the last few months and have to say i enjoy it a lot more then i use to in lvl 4 missions.

I had tired incursions when they first came out and you had PVE pilots jumping in with their active tank BSs blowing the s** out of themselves Shocked

With the merg eof a several incursion channels, its has made incursions a lot easier to form fleet and make the most potential for its pilots as a whole. There was one flawn in CCP design and that was the lack of a capable transport ship for rigs ships. Like most incursion pilots you would have several ships ready for any type of fleet.

2-3 T2/T3 cruisers for VGs / As / HQs
1 Snipe BS

Where the problems comes into play is moving these ship to focus areas after every new spawn, with some focus areas 33 jumps out. now image that with 4 ships and 33 jumps (33 x2 per ship = 66jumps = total 264 jumps). Yes if you had an orca you could make it in 2 trips. But now that incursions have become so popular, wow not bring out a new transport ship to help pilots like this.

Purposal: T2 Orca [ Incrusion Transport Ship ]

Attributes:
850,000 Ship Bay (1 Fitted BS, 3 fitted T2/T3 )
25,000 Cargo (ore, ammo & mods)
Hull/Armor/Shield same has orca

Fitting: 3 lows - 3 Mids - 3Highs (can only fit gang links)

I really think the community would love to have a ship that can make transporting ships easily. Well that isjust my thoughts and wanted to put it out there to see what other thought

How about all your channel friends find a reliable freighter (service) to move everything but 1 ship for you?

First off, this belongs in F&I.

Second, you're not asking for a specific Incursion transport ship, you're asking for a transport ship in general.

Third, this idea has been mentioned many, many times. Please search atleast briefly before posting to see if there's an identical thread already out there.

Also, if you're just moving 2-3 cruisers and a BS, then just take the three cruisers in one trip in the Orca and then fly a shuttle/fast frig back and grab the BS. Viola, down to two trips (or really one and a half, since you don't need to go back to where you started after you move your BS.

My dream transport ship is a carrier with the entire drone bay rededicated to ship maintenance. It would be ideal if you could jump it through gates and into C2+ WHs though. Also, the Rorq's jump clone module would be fantastic.

Just allow freighters to carry rigged ships.

You can already do this this with a convoluted 'contract to an alt and back, and back and then back again' method, might as well just allow them to carry the ships in the first place.

Just courier contract them to your freighter alt while your main uses his/her preferred ship to quickly get to the new location.


Or get Red Frog to freight it over...but at a slower pace.

Yeah sure. I've taken lots of vacations - to Molden Heath, to Stain, Fountain, Cloud Ring, Syndicate, Solitude, Wormhole space, etc. Now that I live in a WH, it'd be really sweet if it were easier to vacation in a nearby WH for a few days! Just as friendly neighbors, of course. :)

Sounds like a great idea. As long as it has the cost of a jump freighter, the EHP of an unfit destroyer, the sig radius of a microwarpdriving Titan, and the agility of a POS. Oh, and it drops 100% of its cargo when it explodes.

I could like this idea if it wasn't just another candies for incursion runners that have already far too much. So NOES !!

Now, you should join/share your idea with a brilliant player around that posted in F&I something about a specific freighter for ships, and only ships, fitted rigged.

Just autopilot your uber blinky pimpy ships and afk do something irl Lol
Or contract transport, don't tell us that you guys are that poor with all those gazillions isk you're doing in incursion that you can't buy new rigs...what a joke.
