Ladies and Gentlemen, I have gathered you here today to inform you of a new project we have been working on. The leaders of CID have gathered together under a banner of our own; creating a group of higher communication discipline. For this project we have gathered pilot's from all over. This group isn't meant to replace anything that already exists, nor to get in anyone's way. The goal for CID is to create a sub-community from BTL. First, and most importantly let me say this:

We will, and I repeat, we -will- always support BTL; we will give them our bodies for any mom, and work together towards a common goal to aid them any way possible. Our first order of business was to donate the mom loot from the pocket incursion. I am not saying we will always do this but we don't really care about the loot as a whole.

We will not ban our piliots from flying from any other fleet. I would personally deem this to be eltiest. I have ran with Phattecia before BTL was well established. He took me in nothing more than a T2 fitted Drake, and after a few more runs at these incursions Phattecia personally bought me a Rokh.

Before I ramble too much, let me go into why I am making this post; here it is, to outline our rules and our guidlines:

These rules are non negotiable.

1) Comms will be ran as relaxed only when the fc is comfortable to open comms.

2) You will not talk over other people on comms unless it is of critical importance to the safety of the fleet.

3) When in-site the FC's word is law. You will follow all orders given by the FC when in-site.

4) You will broadcast for shields when you are yellow boxed. Once you are no longer being shot at you will broadcast in position.

5) You will be respectful to everyone in fleet at all time's.

6) War targets require the agreement of both the FC and the LC to be allowed into fleet.

7) Depending on your ship fitting, you may be asked to refit at the FC's desecration.

8) All logistics pilots are required to be at least level 4, and scimitar pilots must be cap stable

9) All disputes shall be handled on a personal level. Escalation of a dispute to a CID operator is a final resort. Please give it a cool down period before you try to discuss it. If all else fails crtl-alt-q and come back with a cooler head

Pretty simple huh?
you would think so but we have been getting a-lot of issues with them what exactly does relaxed coms mean? It means if you hear check check from the fc, or the lc you do what you were taught when you were little, you sit quietly and listen.

Why? because if the words check check are uttered on coms it means there is an immediate danger to your ship and everyone elses.

I take losses personally I don't like losing any ships if i can avoid it no matter my feelings towards anything else I hate losing ships.

What about you will not talk over other people what does that mean? It means just like if you were in a classroom in college you take turns participating in conversation no matter if it is serious or joking.

What about number 3 Fc's word is law in site? Pretty self explanatory here folks you do what you are told to do in regards to the targets, aligning, and warping this is once again to prevent your loss of ship.

how about broadcasting when you are yellow boxed? Well that means when yellow squares pop up on your overview the rats are locking you this once again this protects your ship.

what about broadcasting in position when they are no longer shooting you? well that pretty yellow box will go to a red box then back to a yellow box that means they are done shooting you for now.

This lets the logistic pilots responsible for the safety of the fleet and your ship that we can go save someone else.

what about being respectful to everyone in the fleet?

Once again this is pretty basic if you are physically irritating someone or touching on sensitive subjects you wouldn't tell another stranger or your family there's no reason to bring them up.

Why does the war targets require an agreement between LC and FC?

I feel like I am rambling here but this is again for the safety of the fleet. How you might ask if you never flew a logistics ship?

The reason for this is once we rep someone at war, it spreads to every single logistics ship on the field meaning your war targets can blow up the fleets logistics it was a basic greifing tool used early on in incursions which some people may have forgotten.

Why should I change my fitting I pay to play this game?

The simple reason again is once more for your own safety, we know how incursions work. We have seen alpha waves take down ill prepared ships such as level 4 mission boats.

Why do logistic pilots have to be level four? Level four logstic pilots are a necessity for hq fleets, a level 3 logistic pilot can cause a whole hq fleet to go down which is also why scimis must be cap stable.

you may say to yourself ok I understand this by why is rule number 9 in existance?

It exists because we have seen what happens in other channels not to name them, but it comes to a point where we get over whlemed with peoples private convos questioning about how they can deal with someone they don't like or don't appericate their comments

Now for the other part our guide lines

Classis Invictus Disciplina

Q - Why
A - For a more mature and disciplined way of running incursions

Q - what benefits do we get
A - when becoming a Cid member players get access to place there fit
in the Cid Channel and access to move yourselves into the relevent ts chan
and get priority for a cid fleet over any other a fleet we may pick from

Q - What benefit do FC,s get in Cid
A - the right and the access on teamspeak to run a troll free fleet
which includes the right to kick troublemakers from teamspeak and fleet

Q - Is there a ship replacement scheme
A - No, we do not ask for donations as part of the agreement to join CID
there is no pot for everyone to be asked to thow isk into and therefor no
reason for anyone to suggest that this way for the operators to fill there
pockets - which gives more incentive for pilots to actually concentrate
on what they are doing to ensure the safety of themselves and those who
are flying along side them.

What CID is trying to do is set up an environment that pilots want to stay in
for more than just 1 or 2 sites without feeling the need to leave because of
having put up with the Bullshit trolling and drama that they had to put up
with in other groups - therefore operators and fc,s will do whatever it takes
to do what is better for the majority rather than the few individuals that
thrive on the sound of there own voice or trolling others.

When CID was setup operators put in place some simple common sense guidelines
to help guide people in the right direction as regards the way in which we
wanted fleets and voice comms run - these guidelines currently still stand
and for those that wish to see more into them than what they are then
perhaps this is not the incursion group for you.

Players that choose Not to agree to the guidelines WILL NOT get voice rights
in the ingame channel "Classis Invictus Disciplina" and will not get the access
to move themselves out of the lobby on voice comms but may be invited to fleet
as a guest from another group - if that group is unable to provide them with
a fleet at that time.

All pilots - members or guests are required to place there corp ticker in the
following format when entering voice comms [TICKER] Pilot, pilots that use false
names or tickers will risk being banned from CID

This is all very interesting. One suggestion. Next time you want to dish out this much text, get someone to write it who has at least a grammar school graduate's grasp of English.

"...have ran..." It's "have rUn." This correction only cost you 100,000 ISK. I'll expect to see payment by Tuesday.

PS I'll go over the proper useage of "their, they're and there" for another million ISK on request.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.

Interesting.... Incursion bears runners actually run MOM sites?

Do not argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

Sometimes when I post, I look at my sig and wish that I'd follow my own god damned advice.

Welcome to CID, where we over legislate shooting space monsters in a space video game. Thankfully no will actually read all those rules. But please don't stop, you can have an exciting and full fulling career writing EULAs and Terms of Use Agreements!

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

Incursion runners have the same ... erm. Appendage / attention problems as fervent, fanatical WiS adherents. Unfortunately your post, mine and the others just re-affirmed this for them. It's a bit like ignoring a child when they are throwing a tantrum. You may feel like correcting their behavior, but that attention may very well be the wrong thing to do because it validates their tantrum.

/sigh

I, to, enjoy desecrating my FC's. I rarely refit after splooging all over them, but I'll try it next time.
