Character Skilling Detection

A small indicator next to the portrait or name (Small 9 pixel red dot in a corner of a portrait would be enough) or something indicating if this character is currently skilling up.

Only if character is online.

Updated very infrequently if at all, just at entering system would be enough.


OPTIONAL : Ability to flag them on overview

What are you even talking about? If you're talking about seeing your own skill training, you can already do that extremely easily. If you're talking about seeing if other people are training, that's just stupid.

Im confused...really confused...are you asking for a way to tell if "OTHER" characters are skilling up? As in not your character but other players characters? Or are you asking for a way to tell if your own character is training something while in EvE? If it is the prior, I hate to tell you but, it won't happen and it's not a good idea. If it is the latter...well...you would be an idiot then.

Next time you log off of WoW and aren't too stoned, please do us a quick favor and biomass your char. Then get blackout drunk and change your EVE password so you can't log in anymore.

This guy is not a genious or invented hot water, but has genious comments some times so +1 with what he just said. Lol

Posting to confirm Tidurious did in fact invent hot water, and I'm willing to create a Wikipedia page to substantiate my claims if necessary.

Also, the only time you wouldn't be skilling an account is if it was a disposable alt, so im guessing this is a stealth request for identifying secondary and tertiary characters? Lucjan having difficulties war deccing null sec entities again?

HInt: that cyno kestrel you are about to pop....probably is not the main training char on the account. Why its called cyno alt


Besides that, what does it matter. Some people have mains who are "done" for the moment and take a week or 4 to make alts or fix up current ones. This char is the main for this account. half the time of late I am pumping sp's into 2 alts for cyno use though. She does what she needs too well enough...no skin off my nose.

Its not like this will show for sure you killed an alt or main.

The possibilities for the origin of this idea are:

1) Intention to troll (by proposing something so ludicrous that people react to it)

2) Complete lack of thought

3) High on crack


I'm going for a combination of points 2 & 3. It's just a bit too dumb for it to be a troll thread.

Given the fact that he has not posten anything after the OP in any way. I'm willing to bet a litle bit on number 1 actually.

Most guys that are a little serious tries to atleast defend their idea. Some trollers tries to defend a little too mutch, but some trollers post just one post, and watch it unfold.
