I'm by no means a game developer and fully understand the intricacies of complete balance. I do know with close range, high dps ships like blaster Gallente ships you don't want to give them too much. It's hard to come back once you've gone too far. I think we should just continue to monitor where they're at in comparison to the other races.


The strength of hybrids is not in question but if you can't get into range they are still as good as useless - however in addition to the short range of hybrids the Gallente rely heavily on drones for pvp utility either for DPS or for the extra bit of strategic advantage getting into range.

What is your position on a new tackle drone with small and medium warp disruptor versions and a Heavy scram version

or more high slots for utilities like energy vampires - sure the amarr use nuets the have bonuses for them but the gallente weapons platform is the most power/cap hungry of them all and the ship is easily nueted before it can really put a hurting on anything. Out of all the races the Gallente have the most ships with only enough slots to fill with guns
