Mass-Testing information - next test: Thursday, the 13th of September

theres no logs ... the repair just shutsdown after 10-12s ...
the sisilauncher remain as TSR jammed. requiring manual termination. so i like to know if its just me cos i can try this on multiple other PCs that i have.

this is amazing ... after i posted the above .... the SISI launcher works and repairs the test folder ... after 37 tries ... somebody spilt beer at eve HQ on something?

The wiki-page contained an outdated link to the reactivation thread. Fixed and account activated (but a new mirror will very probably be deployed before the mass-test).

If you have problems with SisiLauncher / Launcher or starting the client: Please write bugreports with as much information as possible. We know that there are problems for some configurations, but we were not able to track down all problems. Read this thread, if you are using a Mac.

Almost, lose the space between the words like so: 'masstesting' (Channel for instructions from the devs during the test).

These channels are also useful:

massquestions (For questions and feedback during the test)
Singularity (For general sisi chat)
moveme (Get yourself moved to the regular testing system (6-CZ49))
massmoveme (Get yourself moved to the masstest system (FD-MLJ))

And of course the most important channel of all 'fleetw'. Blink (The Channel to get invited to the Win Fleet)

Pro tip: when you open any of those channels READ THE MOTD!!!!! Useful information there.

k anyway i dont think i wanna post 36 bug reports for the 36 attempts to start SISI lol ...

2 major things that did not happen as far as i see that made me do 37 attempts :

1---> the repair tries to update blocks, and it fails ... after it downloads all the blocks, it attempts to redo it all over again automatically ... and hence the numerous repeat attempts
2---> the repair tries to start, ---> file "zsync\rollingchecksum.pyc", line 88, in _unpackrollingsum .... error: unpack requires a string argument of length 4

and hurray number 37th

Yes, same for me, I followed closely the new instructions on Evelopedia, but the 0.61 launcher always want to bring me back to Singularity, and the shortcut always lead to "patch needed" and reboot to the launcher...

Any tips?

You EVE devs are weird. First mass test on Feb 14 (Valentines day), then mass test on March 8 (woman's day). Do you really want so much us to conflict with our wives/girlfriends?
