Why top us out at five tabs for overview settings? If there is a need for a limited number of tabs, please go higher.

Also, dedicated navigational overview. Provided by anectotal explanation of problem.

You're in a fleet. ~100 ships of various sizes. You sit near an enemy POS, having a blast (so to speak). You have your POS Module overview loaded, as an enemy fleet comes in. Sorting by distance, switching POS overview for enemy ships only overview, because enemy fleet is within same range as own pos.

Order comes in to align to some celestial.

At this point you have a bunch of choices which all arent really optimal.
-Change your overview from Ships to celestials
-Search for the celestials in your current overview tab which by type of sorting could be painful
-right-click in space to navigate through planet to moon or customs office (no sun in right click menu)
-turn your viewport and double-click in the general direction of where you suppose that celestial might be without interfering with your overview and targeting enemies (works sometimes with the sun somehow, not so much with random planets)

I suppose i dont really have a solution for this, other than the possibility of having two overviews. One that by design only supports celestials (i use the term for anything that can act as a warp-in for off-grid travel) and is configurable to list only planets/gates/stations, moons/custom offices, npc-structures or sov structures. Throw in some customisation to let people decide if the want the belts with their stations and gates, or with the npc selection.

Basically another, second configurable overview for navigation purposes.
Maybe even integrate it into the "normal" interview and have them swich places by a hotkey or something, or have them displayed side by side in another, much narrower column.
For ships i really want to see the icon, the name of the pilot, his speed, his distance and his ship type.
For gates and anything else navigational related to be in that second new overview column, i really only need the name, and the distance.

The way I tend to do it is have a misc tab that I can load different settings into on the fly, or have them set up for pvp beforehand so it's just a case of switch tabs for different scenarios or targets.

Yes, but you still sactifice one of your four tabs for just that purpose, with far more columns you'd neet for those navigational points.
And hence, since navigation might be needed in any overview tab, i'd thought it was logical to put it somewhere else.

Five tabs has always been enough for what I need, just swap out the profiles in each tab to suit your current needs.
