You should try doing something other than just running missions. There's probably enough stuff in EVE to fix for 2 years worth of expansions.

I honestly hope that WiS just dies off completely by next Winter. It serves no purpose. Anything that can be done in WiS can be done many times faster in the ship hanger and a lot easier as well. Plus walking slowly around a cramped cabin isn't exactly what I would call "fun". If it was at least entertaining for more than 30 seconds it would be worth it for CCP to continue developing it.

As for what needs fixing, most of it has been fixed but there are still A LOT of major things that need to be reworked. Insurance is still iffy, the bounty system has been worthless since forever, blasters are fixed but small and medium rails aren't, ISK inflation is getting out of hand and anyone can go on such a rant about this.

I don't want new space stuff, I would much rather prefer that CCP fix the stuff that is broken in space rather than introduce more broken features.

I think that in the Winter of 2012-2013 EVE will either be enjoying a lot of success from DUST or be heavily weakened and trying to recover from DUST.

I imagine EVE will still be safely stored in CCP's servers and in player's computers and transfered across the internet next winer.

Mm no, I'm not taking a break waiting on it.

Technically I've been "waiting on it" for almost twice as long as you've been playing. I'm glad you enjoy EVE though.

I don't have much faith it will ever completely come out actually. Though it's the only real thing I'm interested in right now as spreadsheets and KB whoring can only hold my attention for so long before I need breaks.

This thread was supposed to be about the game next winter, not an opportunity for attention whores to farm 'likes' by talking about how edgy their FiS 'attitude' is, I realized I probably confused most of you with the OP.

It'll probably still be on the same server somewhere in London.

I'm not farming likes or going on about the FiS attitude being edgy, that's just you reading what you want into my post. Personally I hope WIS sinks without a trace and all those who subbed or only play for that either appreciate the game like the rest of us do or go their merry way.

I think some players came to EVE from other games hoping it would be a little more like their old games with WIS and to some extent it's them that are constantly whining on the forums about how the game should change to suit them. Those players obviously aren't suited to this game and the overblown prospect of WIS is what brought them here. Not a good thing really.

5,000 more star systems, 50 new ships, 60,000 concurrent logins. That's if CCP is smart and keeps feeding us steady goodies. A community will rapidly stagnate without fresh goodies.

WIS just needs features where people can troll each other with not just verbal but with nonverbal communication too and when a player replies with CAPS, tears are rolling from his/her character's eyes. According to the forum posters, WIS will be the most beloved part of the game and CCP can focus more resources on the future WIS plans. How about that? :D

DUST514/Eve integration will be the main feature at about that time. It could be very interesting, or DUST could flop and the integration could be weak, time will tell.
