EVE Online: Crucible 1.2 Issues

Playing Eve in windowed mode with 2 clients 1 is courtesy of Eve Clonemaker.

Issues:

- The most weird issue I have is that I cannot station spin. Why oh why? Cry

- The other issue I think I understand because Eve positions itself to the upper most top layer, or something like that which stops my dock in hidden mode and oh so full with handy Eve tools not to respond on mouse over. This was never the case, a.f.a.i.k. in pre 1.2 versions.

Only jumped in station for 1 minute with 2 clients so there will be (possibly) more. :)

Just downloaded the patches via autodownloader. Eve was working PERFECT before this. Now I cant leave the system I'm in. Left the station, warped to the gate, client crash. Log in again, ship warps to gate, CLIENT CRASH!. Im stuck and cant go anywhere. no jump, no return to station. nothing.

I figured maybe i had a bad patch so i uninstalled the patch and downloaded a new one, same thing. Client crash at the gate.

Not Happy AT ALL!! EvilEvilEvil

This is the first serious technical issue that wont let me play the game since I began in 2009! Now I know how the rest of you feel...lol

After latest patch applied, when I drag from item tab to the ship for fitting, when I pass over the empty space between the hanger and ship, it spins the ship.

Character customization seems to be broken since the patch some days ago. On an alt (Porkita) I changed the makeup&look, the result was the new portrait had the wrong makeup all over, even when going into re-customization again, as if it wouldn't save it properly. Backgrounds are missing too, no matter what I do or how often I re-customize.

2 obvious (and previously reported) issues remain after today's patch:

1. You can't paste decimal numbers to market orders if your Windows locale uses comma as decimal separator. This is silly and should be very easy to fix.

2. System scanning animation is misaligned by several pixels. Display issue only, but looks ugly.

Is there a way to download the new patch off of the website cause it will not download off the game screen? It just sits on download and does nothing

Todays patch fixed nothing for me. Still crashing when attempting gate jumps. Still stuck at gate. Serious issue for me. Petitioned last night and no reply on it yet. Checked my graphics card drivers and am running up to date drivers. getting annoyed I cant play. Just purchased a full years acct time x 2 accts. Not getting my moneys worth here.

The black background seems to come and go. I managed to update my portrait yesterday and it was all fine for an hour or so until I tried looking at a larger version of the picture and It automagically disappeared. Just like the settings does not save correctly on their server maybe.

the last 3 client updates causes my pc to black screen after the patch installs forcing me to have to power cycle my pc to get out of it.

Still no fix on my issue. Made sure my grapics card is updated. Tried running the Eve Repair tool. that keeps uninstalling the latest patch so I have to re-dl it. The patch is what keeps breaking my client. STill no answer or acknowledgement of my petition. Day 2 of unplayable issue. Not happy here

Sorry to hear you are still having issues.

Have you filed a bug report?
Once you have done that file a stuck petition to the GM's. This will get your issue flagged and worked on faster.
I would also clear all my settings using the esc menu. On hard crash issues it is usualy a stray bit of code that is causing the issue.
Good luck and hope it is solved soon.

After installing the latest client update, I'm noticing the client will freeze during docking/undocking session changes. I have to "Force Quit" the client and log back in.

Also still seeing a lot of blank avatar portraits in chat and info windows. This has been an ongoing issue since Crucible 1.1.

Yep did the bug report. Got a reply to my petition with instructions to get my DXDiag txt file and then start a log report file and duplicate my crash issue. Got that all done and dropped said files into my petition. Now im waiting to see what comes of it.

Sure hope it gets fixed soon. My business is hurting cuz I cant move my goods and replenish my stocks.

CTRL+double click not working anymore. Why ?

CTRL+simple click was the targeting before and the CTRL+ double click was targeting+approach toward to the targeted objects.

Why removed this feature or just a simple bug ???

Noticed an issue sine last patch. Not a big one, but very annoying when in a pvp fleet:
Dualboxing 2 ships. in fleet with both. Named ships A and B while in one region (Solitude). Went into Syndicate, renamed ships to C and D. went into Placid - ship names was now A and B again in dirscan! Logged in Placid over night, logged on and made a new fleet with my two toons. Went back into Syndicate - one ship now named A and the other D! Crazy! Entered Solitude, ships now named A and B again. Magic!

Could this be a code-bug where the variable containing the ship name is double declared in another scope?! But then again why different behaviour on the two clients and also how come the names are persistantly saved per region?!? Who knows ? I'm no expert in Python, but I did program in C++ some decade ago (namespaces - that caused a lot of trouble)

Should I report this as a bug or is it enough with this entry?

Has anyone else had an issue with "dock" no longer working? Every time I select dock when warping to a station I warp to the station and just sit outside having to select dock a second time to actually dock.

As a positive feedback, the epilepsy inducing flashes caused by ships spawning on grid have been greatly reduced. When a large fleet portals, typically only a few of those 1-frame flashes occur.

EDIT: I take back the last statement. Just had **** tons of flashing just like before, so its not fixed.
