+1 for making an option that allows the endless copypasted combat sequences in ME to be mostly skippable and having to primarily go just through the storyline
Oh, wait, they have that, don't they ? They have 3 modes of gameplay - action, classic and story. The latter would be the one I'd want after a while, but I'd probably want to start as "classic" first.
I wonder if you can switch between them "on the fly" or not (as in, is it locked from start to finish or changeable at some points).
Either way, I quickly become bored of the fighting in ME games, and that's one of the reasons why I sometimes insano-edit my stuff's stats to become basically one-burst-kill ubercheated weapons and nigh-invulnerable outfits (especially on a second playthrough, but sometimes from the start). I also generally memedit my resources/credits/whatnot even in the first playthrough. Oh, and almost always, lowest combat difficulty is chosen by me from the start (it's just numbers, firepower and hitpoints of enemies anyway almost always, so who cares, me certainly not).
As to why somebody would want to "play" a game like an interactive movie... well, why not ? I quite often find myself watching a youtube playthrough of some game (skipping the parts I find myself bored with), and that's not even an interactive experience, but predetermined by what the one recording it has chosen. There is CERTAINLY quite a bit of appeal in scripted quick-resolving combat/action sequences in story-heavy games like those in the ME series.

TL;DR - the chick everybody's "hatin' on" is kind of right, and the whiners are just that.
I and probably quite a few others do not have the time to go through each and every combat sequence (or god forbid, have to redo one), but still want to see how the story goes.
As long as the OPTIONS to do either exist, I see no problem.

And for what reason did you make this thread other than to belch out more BS? And it sounds like the company you work for has some pretty decent policies and I think you should follow them at all times.

Rationale behind "attacks" on Hepler are several and explained in great detail all over this thread, especially my links in OP and more are easy to find using something called Google if you require further explanation. I think most people have no problem in understanding the rationale behind it other than you. You seem to misunderstand several words and phrases however, I suggest you look up their definition.
