Hi mates.

Is it possible to integrate into the autopilot an sound alert when we're near a low sec or null sec system in the autopilot route?

I mean... imagine that you set a course that will take you through low sec or null sec. When you enter the last high sec system before entering low sec, you'd get an Eve message saying something like: "Warning next jump will be into a low security system!" Or something like that.

That way people would be warned and would be alerted when entering those systems. This could be a feature that would be configured in autopilot settings.

Sometimes I'm concentrated in other stuff, so I make jumps to border systems. But with this feature I could set the all route and get a warning when I get to this borders. :)
Many other players, like those who run courier missions could find this an interesting feature.

Thx for your attention,
My bests to you all,

I support AFK (hauling) flying as much as the next guy, but you gotta take the good with the bad.

However, if a tree falls in the forest, will you be close enough to the keyboard to hear it? Does it matter?

If your route is through low/nul sec space, I suggest that you not AFK (haul) fly.

But hey, it's your game.

The visual indication on the route display is good enough for me when going through low sec, so I'm sorta indifferent on this idea.

Well mate it's just an idea. I mean... a couple of years ago the Jump to 0 of the gate was implemented when we were doing bookmarks to avoid jumping to 15 in low and null sec.

Nevertheless thx for ur comment. :)

IIRC, the route planner already mentions something like "this route takes you through lowsec space"

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

Don't leave your computer when you have it set to AP through lowsec space, just like you wouldn't AFK next to a gate in lowsec space. That's a Darwin Award activity right there.

Set a waypoint to the last highsec system before low/null. Your alert is the 'autopilot disabled, waypoint reached' message when you reach it. Is that really so difficult? I mean, you right click the little square, set waypoint, and optimise.
