T2 Titan - the return of AoE

Let me tell you a story about the return of the AoE...

"Because T2 all the things™"

Scientists in deep space have recently announced the weaponisation of the cyno generator.

This modified cyno generator (which uses an immense amount of powergrid and energy to successfully operate) opens a singularity in space centered upon itself, drawing ships and deployables present on grid towards the artificial gravity well, very much like a tractor beam.

Seeking to find a suitable platform to use this new 'weapon' on, the only candidate that presented itself was a modified Titan, a T2 titan.

Seeking to find a way of attacking all those trapped in the gravity well, the scientists got their hands on the largest smartbombs they could find, and made them bigger, creating and releasing to the market, Capital Smartbombs.

These specially designed T2 titans were built to enhance the effect and range of the smartbombs, thus further increasing their effect on the battlefield.

50km capital smartbomb range could never be overpowered rite?

Confirming the 'god mode' module will have to be activated to run the cyno gravity well and the capital smartbombs at full efficiency

if something like this was to be built, i think only one should be allowed undocked per system

Other capabilities: The only offensive capital permitted in high security space, although it is constrained to the jita undock. Also has the capacity to tank concord.

In the deployment of such a weapon, the ship would be consumed in the gravity well sealing it from further expansion...

Disposable one shot.

I can see it happening and would be epic to experience.

Guess it'd remove the hyper-abundance of minerals.

You know what.. thats not an entirely crazy idea...

'suicide' Titan, everything on grid cannot escape and slowly gets pulled towards the centre and crushed to death

you'd have to have some very high level alliance FC make the isk cost decision to bring it in..

But depending what else was on the field... if could work out well?

Sounds like an epic event, armaggedon in the true sense of the word

Drop a Gravity titan in the middle of this blob and wait for the tears...

It would solve the problem of supercap blobs.

And I don't fly a titan or any other cap ship. So tired of whining : CCP! I can't get the ball into the hoop! Can you lower the net please! Anything that gets other pilots to shut up about being popped by titan guns cause they fly little ships. Get them out of cheap little ships with bigger tanks -> Solves issue of getting owned by glass cannons -> Gets those pilots in bigger ships with better tanks -> Gets rid of titan popping cruisers with tracking enhancers cause they are now equiping tanks instead of gun mods -> Means Titan pilots facing other pilots in cap ships -> Means more cap ship battles -> Win/Win!

Step out of the crappy ships you fly, step up into cap ships yourself and commit to actually losing something with a value that exceeds T1 battleships, step into the big game and get over the fact that you can actually make a difference yourself instead of whining to CCP to further nerf a ship (hint: Every time something is nerfed, someone else finds a way to use it more successfully -> Why can't you adapt as well?).

I do agree that a new Capital is needed. Something on the Titan level or bigger.

Titans are just everywhere, we need that rarity back and a ship that scares the crap out of everything.
