First time i was doing PI i liked the sound environment.
Now i am doing PI for many hours sometimes, and this sound really is wrecking my nerves.

I need sound because i want to hear whats going on, because i am running more then one client, so i dont want to switch off all sound. But i really start hating PI only because of that sound.
Please make it optional to completly switch it off.

Eve has sound?

There is no need for this option. The solution is already implemented.

All you need to do is to create as much copies of your EVE install folder (and it's content of course) as you have accounts. Could look like this:

C:/programs/CCP/EVE Online - Account 1
C:/programs/CCP/EVE Online - Account 2
C:/programs/CCP/EVE Online - Account 3

and so on.

Next you create shortcuts for every of those "eve.exe" files contained in the folders and place them on your desktop. Of course you will need to rename them in order to match with the specific folder.

When you now start each of those clients, you will be able to set up each of them differently. You can specify all options for every client individually. So in your case: Turn off the sound on the PI client and leave it on on the other ones. As easy as that.

Only downside: You have to update more clients when it's patchday. Blink

I hope I didn't misunderstand your issue.

This is a very bad workaround, its not an implemented solution. I have several accounts *3 doing PI. Its a waste of redundant data on my harddisk and will cause more problems because i am doing backups of my eve folders. I dont really want backup so many data just because the pi developer fail in implementing a simple switch to turn off sound.

Can't be a bad workaround if it works and redundant data never cause any problems at all if handled correctly. I mean if he's got the disk space, then why not?. Works fine for him.

Despite that, EVE has sound? Lol
