My last PVP kill was 1021 days ago.

My contact list is solid red/offline.

I've got T1/T2/Cap ships all over the universe. [Thankfully, they aren't locked behind player controlled stations]

How do I get back into this thing?

(I was a 0.0 generalist/PVP - 92mil SP on two characters)

And if by some chance that some of you readers actually remember me /hello!

I thought they only pretended to recruit and just scammed whoever tried to get in.

There is just Something Awful about the Goons. (I was always on the opposite side of the Goons - I know their rep, good and bad).

then you should look into Raiden. - they're the spiritual successor of BoB/IT.

Except they blob, have no decent FC's, no reputation of at least doing good small scale roaming PvP (that usually fought against the odds/blobs), etc. If you mean they have bigger superfleets than their opponents and old BoB corps around, then yah, you'd be right.

There's just no 'spiritual successor' of BoB, PL, or hell NC or RA or ASCN or whichever you want. EVE today is just about supers and blobs, and even entities who used to be semidecent at PvP have adapted to that. In fact, I'd go as far as stating Rooks and Kings is the closest you'd find to old BoB, Genos is more PL-esque, but now I'm arguing semantics and drifting off topic. P

OP should just stay out of null and focus on WH, that's where the only decent EVE life is nowadays.

Contrary to the doubters, Goonswarm does not scam potential recruits. Contact me ingame and we'll see about getting you setup.

You asked me once, what was in Room 101. I told you that you knew the answer already. Everyone knows it. The thing that is in Room 101 is the worst thing in the world.

It's good to know that once you become a bittervet, you will always be a bittervet, no longer how long you stay away from the game.

Welcome back to the sandbox. I would try to get back into the hang of things with T1 ships before you hop back into your shiny T2 and capital ships.

Way to steer someone in the right direction Roll, Goons are the very last alliance you wanna get involved with. There's plenty of good alliances out there, Goons ain't one of them.

Strong disagreement, they are hysterically shenanigan enducing, and are the butt of the largest amount of tinfoil hat theories in the universe, whats not to like?

Also, they leave, but they will ALWAYS be back muahahahaha (bittervets)

Bah, humbug. The so called "blobs" have no decent FCs, yet some of the most revered FCs in the entirety of EVE Online come from these so-called "blobs". Insert Mr Vee, DaBigRedBoat, Vily, Ridis, DingoGS, Esmilis, SuperTwinkey69, Shadoo, jogyn, JEFFRAIDER, Chowdown hell even SirMolle is known to be a hell of an FC. So stop your "hurr hurr blobz" and actually experience 0.0 before you start whining.

Before doing anything make sure you know three things.

#1 The changes in game mechanics.

#2 The status/trends of major collations.

#3 The scams that are going on.

Before some idiot says otherwise you obviously cant get into goons without being part of the Something Awful forums. Don't waste your time or isk.

I would personally recommend you give NPC nullsec a try if you want to get back in with some fun. Combat is everywhere and you can't hide behind a blue wall.

Why don't you try to get into your old corp again? From what I hear PL isn't the worst choice you could make.
But as a true bittervet it is much more important to never undock, only log in to change skills and keep constantly spilling bile on the forums...so, coming to GD was a very good first move, welcome back Blink

I'd like to apologize for the poor quality of the post above and sincerely hope you didn't waste your time reading it. Yes, I do feel bad about it.

I believe he was talking about Raiden specifically.
