The red flashing aggression boxes look like **** now

They were working perfectly fine before CCP, why did you change them? What was the reason/motivation, apart from making an apparently substance-free change?

fair enough lol :) but my main gripe with them is that they are just too damn distracting

You are correct - they are a lot more "in your face" but I guess some people will like that as it keeps them "aware" easier?

I'm quite color blind and can't see the old boxes.. Haven't seen the new ones, but if they are easier to differentiate from the yellowboxes, great.

I for one welcome our new flashing icon overlords.

Doesnt notice anything. I guess when you imagine something being a certain way and they do it you dont notice it.

I have much more issues with new neocom blinky than with this. Can't see real reason to complain.

The thing is, I and others see an issue here - and no real justification for the change. That means it reeks of unnecessary cosmetic change (something bad, really). Yes, I did type what you quoted and edited it to soften it a bit. Do you not think uncessary changes (i.e., those that don't fix a major bug/game balance problem/whatever) are bad...for example, the blinkiness of the new neocom?
