Mining in Missions

Hi there,

I have seen the list on eve-survival.org about Mining in Missions, but I'm asking myself if it's still up to date. I don't think so.

Are there missions, where Mining is worth in Hisec, except the fact, that it's just quite to mine there with nearly no risk of Can Flippers.

There should be for example the L2 mission (Artifact Recovery), where you can mine Arkonor, but I have never seen it, only as a Level 1 Mission, but that doesn't contain any Arkonor.
The only one with non-Hisec-Ore I have seen is the one with a little Gneiss, but that's not worth to invest the effort. Price is the same like Veldspar or Kernite and even less than Pyrox at that time.

So is there a Mission, where you generally mine the existing ores?

I used to mine in missions back when rocks spawned only 2 times a week and high sec was stripped of veldspar in a day. Which was also worth isk for that reason.
I aslo mined pyrox in missions in minmatar space but now I have it in belts where I live I don't need to get it from missions anymore.

The only reason to mine in missions in high sec anymore is for the variety or the peace and quiet.

What rocks are the most isk per hour to mine? Which of your mission loot is worth more refined than sold? What blue prints make the most proffit? Answers: https://eve-industrialist.com/ Never sell an item for less than its mineral costs again!

Yup, mining in missions is largely pointless.

There are some missions that are very good for rocks and they are right next to the warp in. Some even let you get an orca to the ore.

But then you have to ask, "is stopping to mine actually worth it", because most of the time you'd make more money by completing the mission and doing another 2-4 in the same time.
but then if you spend 6 hours doing 1 mission it's a different story!

It's a lot more peaceful though - and if you have a mining corp mate(s) then they might welcome the change whilst you keep missioning.

I'm betting that any mention of Arkonor in Artifact Recovery probably has my name on it. I saw it in that mission once and only once. Ever. Perhaps I should have bought a lottery ticket that day.

I think I was doing missions for Fatani Shethaya of Carthum Conglomerate in Pimebeka, Tash-Murkon. I can probably check the killmail for my Retriever when I get home to see what system it was in.
