Offering 50mil if you can write this Google (or lo) Spreadsheet for me. (compare a item across hubs)

Since I fail at trying to do this myself I will offer a 50mil payment for somebody to write the following Google Spreadsheet (or libre office ) for me instead.

Description what I want is below:

(essentially I just want to compare the prices of one item in the different trade-hubs over time / weekends / weeks )


"I am trying to accomplish the following spreadsheet, but I fail miserably because I dont know my way around importXML or how apis work for that matter."

I am trying to create the simple spreadsheet that does the following:

page 1:

only a box that says "enter ITEM ID here"


then on page 1&2: I want to display some graphs I make from raw data on


page 3 (raw data sheet) : here I want 5 simple colums of raw data pulled from any up to date market-data provider
(times trade hubs). (evemarketeer?)

the 5 colums I am looking for are:
date, price low, price high, price average, orders (more if more are possible) for the item ID I enter on page 1 !
worth of the last 3 (up to 6) Months of history.

Preferably this should be split into the trade hubs, so what I am trying to do is make a datapull-sheet that will give me 180 rows of history (6 months) of the items date,prices low/high/av and orders times the biggest trade hubs (jita,amarr,dodixie,hek,rens)

so basically on page 3 there should be 25 colums of ~181 rows each that fill automatically if I enter the Item ID on page 1.


Can this be done? Is there a tool that will compare data in a way like this already ? Am I wasting my ISK here?

Can it be done? Yes. I have mad similar spreadsheets to compare the cost of goods across 4 trade hubs. Getting the history data is possible from EveMarkeeter

Can it be done for 50 Mil?
Maybe if someone has already done this and wants to share their work with you.

I can do it but, not for 50 Mil, I'll offer the following quote.

Down Payment : 1 ISK

Payment When Finished - 3 Units of Talos Battlecruisers delivered to Stacmon V-9 (for me)+ 50 Million ISK (for the Eve Markeeter guy, only seems fair to send him a cut).

I'll provide some copies of the spreadsheet results (without formulas) as proof of completion before payment is required.

To be clear, the history information is only available per region. Not per station. (at least with Eve Markeeter which is what I use)

Thank you for your offer, I will consider it as I will get more eager to get it done.

However, I am not willing to raise my offer at the moment.

But I agree on giving back to either Callean Drevus or the EvE-community.

So if somebody would be able to code this Spreadsheet I would make it public for everyone to use.

Well times have been rough so I figured I'd do a little speculative work . . .

Obviously that was just the data dump from one random item and can't be edited.

As to payment, here is my final offer . . .

You want real work done for you and you're willing to deliver a "couple" of exotic dancers that I swear will be put to good use? Not even over a courier contract?

Think about it for a minute . . . .

I've got to run this undercover mission out in syndicate and whats that going to take?
1) A good covert op ships.
2) A good covert op agent that knows the local pirate hideouts.
3) Some lovely ladies to umm . . . smooth things out with these pirates and over them and provide an alternative to my well used corpse.
4) And of course a supply of narcotis to keep that dirty spy on track and those ladies from putting up to much trouble

RIght? I mean that's keeping it to the bear minimum, you can't call that one of those extravagant state sponsored missions.

Now, suppose I just grab girls from the my local club down here Anuso, what's going to happen.
First, my regulars are going to get pissed that the good looking girls are gone, and they're expected to spend their hard earned ISK checking out fat fat refugees and and old scientists (not the cute, dimpled, retro glasses wearing type).
Then. Instead of spending time in the club, they're going to be out to good, snorting blue synth, blowing up transports, and causing a major rucuss with our loose alliance (loose in all senses).
Before you know it, one lost corpse being used as a pirate treasure trove is going be the least of the indignities I'm faced with.

All because you couldn't be bothered to ship me some fresh girls from the more pleasant parts of Amarr space and loan me a little equipment.
Did I mention they posted facebook photos of what's being done to my poor corpse?

Your chances were higher before I found out about this thread ;) (unlike Chribba o\, I'm not tracking mentions of my name yet)

Still, regional comparison of history data is an interesting thing. So interesting indeed, it seems, that people are willing to pay for it. EVE Marketeer is free however, and I'll see if I cannot add something like this to the website (if you dont want me to forget, please put it on feature requests over on the feedback page).

But seriously Florian, 50M isk is not exactly tempting to most whom would be able to do this I guess. Even if this IS the most trivial development request I've seen in a while (as a spreadsheet anyway, for EMK it will be a little more difficult) ;)
