CCP wins Award...

True story:

I read the blog on the upcoming fanfest. Afterwards I drove to the market to buy some tuna fish. During the drive I was shaking head thinking that CCP should have released some inspirational news to get people stoked up about the event.

After my purchase of the tuna fish, while I was on my way out of the parking lot, I watched a lady smash her SUV into a parked car (she must have thought the accelerator was the brake) while trying to park, sending that parked car careening across the lot into another, for a total of a three car accident. Is there a cosmic message there? I leave it to the reader...

Upon returning home, I looked on the forums again and much to my amazement, CCP had released another blog. Good things coming...

On this day I am proud to award CCP a small Slice of Win...keep up the good work and lets turn this into a trend!

I like to think I model my vision of EVE after his, he's the one that will make EVE into the full universe it deserves to be. Not just a space ship game but a whole other world....

I just got a call from the crew commander on my GW Panther...

He said to say "Please stop with all of the Dev posts and proposed plans for improving FIS!"

Apparently there was a crew meeting and they are afraid of losing me if this keeps up... Lol

CCP has great vision, good ideas and a good core gameplay. It all goes to hell in the execution. Plan all you like, what actually winds up in the players' hands is what matters.

To be brutally honest man, at this stage I'd rather risk buyers remorse and just have it all at once.

Torvi's blog is a wonderful ray of hope, but I'll still be watching what CCP does. I will be attending fanfest though. When it boils right down to it, thats more about eve and the community then it is about CCP.
