Time Travel is impossible right?

I dont think any of these ideas are possible becuase of Time dilation with humans. If a human is falling time dilates and gives him a few seconds while falling, but the human will still hit the floor and die. So Time dilation kind of sucks in a way cause of that. Get a few seconds to live but death is still the end to it.

Only way these ideas are possible is if when a human falls, and time dilates, but also if the human can do more so when he lands he doesnt die. But right now we all die when we land wether we were given a few seconds from time dilation or if we weren't.

Tell ya the truth I dont really use time dilation at all. I mostly see it as what accelerations and speeds humans can overcome and stand up on or pilot in a sense. Like at some high speeds a human cant overcome it and we get dragged after that. So you can see how useful that is. Even that ends with death though as well. A falling house a human can overcome its acceleration perhaps and stand up, but the house still lands and the human dies when it does. So we arent really too advance of a species.

Eisteind kind of proved things or life relate. So if life sucks, physics proves, everything else sucks as well.

Here's a fun article about time.

As for the possibility of straight up going back in time, I doubt it.. And if it was, we would never know it, as the best guesses currently state that if you were to go back in time and try to change something, you would end up spawning a parallel reality wherein that change was made, while the rest of us just kept plugging along in this world as if nothing ever happened...

On the other hand, you can get to the future just by waiting. P

The giant logical fallacy of 99% of the people talking about timetravel in any way is that they assume time is one-dimensional.

Assumption is the mother of all ****-ups.

Fact is, we do not yet know enough about how time works to say whether timetravel is impossible or not. All we know at this point is that if we assume time to be one-dimensional combined with the empircal evidence of how 3d objects behave in our current understanding of space and time - Yes, then it is impossible.

If you do things right, people won't be sure you've done anything at all...

If we can travel back in time ever, and such a thing could occur in my life time, then I must assure all of you that I did not invent it. If I had, I'd be ruler of the world and you would all be my slaves and not have time to post on these forums.

Time travel is possible, this guy met himself in the future ... TRUE STORY!

Some days I begin to fix my sink just to see if I can travel to the future too and meet myself so I can finally slap me in the face for being so damn sexy.
