Hey all,

I have a question about UI in EVE. On my first account I have set up all the windows position, colors, sizes, etc....the way I want it,
now when I log to this account all is way different.

So I am wondering if there is an option, export ability (i know there is one for overview) to get the exact same look on both of my accounts without me going crazy, taking snapshots and trying to arrange same position.
On one of the accounts I have 3 toons and positions are the same on all 3, the difference is just account based.

If anyone has any idea or solution I would appreciate it.

Here's your problem.


But no, really. I would say search for %appdata% and copy everything from the account with your "good" setup over to the account with the not-so-good setup, but I don't remember if that's how it works and you're on a mac.

just copy the settings files & rename to fir account/character id?

thx for the replies.

am looking at the settings folder found in (p_drive > Local Settings > Application Data > CCP > EVE > c_program_files_ccp_eve_tranquiliy > settings) and there is no account names, just some "core_user" "core_char" and some numbers there.
there is prefs.ini but who knows to what account settings that is linked to

in the same folder as settings folder is located there are cache, cache_backup (0-3)
what are those?


am looking at the right foder in the first place?
