Megaupload was taken down becuase the employees where bragging about pirating and making too much money off of it.

Of course hence why I and others reacted to it back then, it seemed weird. Also not so unheard of that pedos use the excuse that they are "reporting it" to in fact watch it, at least I saw that once in law and orderCool. He claimed to work for anonymous which is a great excuse when they have no membership or organisation.
