Gate interdiction profits are absent following great sucess of battlecruiser tier3. Transit operators no longer moving goods in sufficient quantity to justify fleet stability.

Interdiction of commodities brings unity and joy, dependant upon external factors. Profit motive for transit operators approaching null. Required evaluation of transit operations to continue with success. Prefernces include retaining current attributes posessed by battlecruiser tier 3.

Increased draw to transit operation will yield increased approval from interdiction activities, global value added.

Small form statement, potential for loss exceeds potential for profit in transit operations. Results in reduced profit availability for interdiction activities.

Problem:

Transit operators no longer moving goods in sufficient quantity, due to over predation.

Evaluation of transit operations to continue with success:

Imediate migration to a new zone neccisary to prevent long term inviability of transit operations in current zone. Interdiction over predation may have permanantly damaged viability for transport operations to continue in current zone already. Percevied predation on transit operators must be reduced, or transit operators will migrate to zones with less predation. Increased percevied safe transit operations will yield increased opportunities for interdiction activities.

Migration maintains preference for current attributes possesed by Battlecrusier tier 3.

As stated above, if pilots aren't moving cargo large enough to make ganking them profitable in one place, due to an abundance of gankers, maybe there are gates where they aren't being ganked elsewhere and the pilots using those routes may be lazy due to lack of danger.

Move on cos the prey is getting wiser.

Solution: remove all transport options from Transit Operators other than gate limited transport, e.g. Jumpfreighters and Jump Bridges.

Once they have no alternative but to use gates, you will see an increase in gate transport traffic.

Completely wrong. CCP has introduced game breaking mechanics with respect to invulnerable logistics, e.g. Jumpfreighters. CCP broke it. It needs to be fixed.

I dont know what the op is talking about. But i think he's saying that haulers are getting smart and not putting a ton of crap into them and are not afk flying anymore.

Why Can't I have a picture signature.

a statistician would base percentages possibly on market reports.

There is software that Wall Street uses, scans news articles, blogs, etc. Creates expected standings for certain stocks., or depreciation in some cases.

While I'm a noob to this game. I can scan easily through the forum threads and note that griefer activity has greatly increased over the last few weeks.

Thus saying, if one was a pirate profiting off of destroying industrial ships and stealing cargo, the volume of these ships is going to drastically be decreasing.

Remember, open sandbox. These pilots will shift to something else, most likely pirating themselves.

I like how you suggest that usable data can be derived from anecdotal evidence of "the forum threads".

Newsflash: It was a sandbox last year, too. See also: Ice mining interdiction.

Obviously some people have quit mining ice for careers as pirates, too...

...but do you think it's likely to ever occur vice-versa based on data derived from "the forum threads"?

I bet tons of pirates have secret dreams about sitting next to ice rocks for hours on end without anything to speak of happening!

No, this game was designed to make logistics a necessity for any serious group of players. There will never, ever be a shortage of hauler alts for people to pew pew in high sec. Ever.

Obvious exception of "DOOM" is obvious.
