Venting!! total BS fix the stupid traffic timers

So there i was in a badger mk2, recently headin home from my latest pos bash, and pickin up some of the pos modules for the corp, i decided to get some of my assets together and bring em down to our home system. We brough in a corp to our alliance that just happened to get a war dec so it was transfered to the alliance..

Not even paying attention or worrying about the new wardec and dealing with owning the current war targets who recently stopped playing because of how badly we were putting a hurt on there alliance and there pos's.

So i was jumping my systems home and i noticed a war target from the new wardec in local, i jumped systems, it was clear and i than jumped warped to my next destination system and i seen local spring up again with more than 1, jump its clear go to next system, and boom again there they are, so im like **** there chasin me down the pipe but im 1 j ahead of them .. So i keep going, i got some corp mates gearin up to meet these guys, and i go to my next system and bam, i hit a traffic timer of like 150+ seconds im like W T F .... and i see him jump through, then it pushes me onto the next system he gets me and its total gayness.. i think thats some cheap crap that i get stuck with the timer and he gets pushed through the gate and is just waiting for me.

if its any consolation, the 200 mill of T2 mods is being put to good use as we speak ^_^

Smart thing to do yes, but the point is that if i was 120 seconds into the timer that started at 160 seconds and he warped in and didnt have a timer and insta jumped than its broken... and a BS mechanic in the game.

And yes, i hope you guys put those modules to good use.. lol was just collecting assets around the systems i had stuff at random.. not a huge loss on my part but it sucked that it happened the way it did..

but next time you guys should come on down for the fight instead of runnin away..
but i know your beef's not with us but with ultric...

no im not whineing i lost a ship its a vent about how the traffic timer screwed me over, but gave you guys the upper hand, so good job the traffic timer allowed you guys to catch me with all your skills.....

i think this thread should be locked so people cant stop making stupid comments, but i guess flamers will be flamers..

The thing that screwed you over was thinking it was smart to fly around with wartargets in system in a badger. You had plenty of time to log.

Thats happened to me before (The timer thing not the blow up part), I mashed jump half way through the countdown and got through

Now, more than ever, we need a dislike button.

it wasn't guys,,,,,, it was a guy, ody killed you, you are at war, you made the choice to fly in a hauler while at war without support.

so lets get this one straight.....

it was the gate that killed you and not ody ?

it had nothing to do with you not using a scout ?

it had nothing to do with tiger having guns on his ship and you having none on yours ?

it wasnt a oh i jumped through a gate and there he was ... facepalm.. it was a i jump to a gate, get stuck on a timer.. wait... wait...wait...wait...wait....wait... oh look theres the wartarget.. wait...wait....wait...wait.. jump oh look there he is again.. Game just messed up any chance i had of surviving..

but like i said its ok... im just pissed that i got stuck on the timer, yeah idiot me not thinking about were you guys could be since we have not seen any presence from you or your corp mates at all but we had scouts after the fact and you had about 6 guys sittin there wait.. abso abso harby oracle and i cant remember the rest.. im not an idiot, yeah but have made an idiot move flying a hauler while in a wardec, but the people we were dealing with at the moment were no threat to us any more..

but good job on the kill, its a game im not going to get caught up on it, just wanted to express my opinions on this traffic timer.. thats all.

Oh yes. The subject. I'm a freighter pilot. I live in fear of that gate leaving me hanging with my tiddies in the wind. It is never a gimme. If I have heat on my tail, I dock. I NEVER TRUST THE GATE. The folks paying me to haul come riding in and clear it for me. Then WE proceed. Never trust the gate.

We must accommodate the idiocracy.
