+1 suffering from this problem.

Petition sent.

It's almost like the client/ server forgets that it should be using the internet. :(

Same thing happens to me once or twice an hour ever since installing the game on a new PC.

What is strange is how the entire Eve website and server are unavailable whenever it happens. I was thinking it was an ISP thing but I have checked and apparently, it is not.

Just reporting that I'm having the same problem. About 8 disconnects today, so far.
I'll do as the dev asks.

Only noticed this today when I opened 3 clients for some logistics and holy **** it`s like 2-3 months ago all over again when for almost a month had the same issue. Can`t keep them running for more than 10 minutes without random disconnects.

Ran that tracer thingy and attached it to the petition.

Fix this ****. Seriously.

This seems to have solved my issues aswell, thank you!

I am having random disconnects as well (just from EVE, not from my ISP). Sometimes right after a couple minutes of playing, sometimes after longer times. I have the PingPlotter thing running now, and it is showing >50% packet losses on average at 194.25.210.46, so it seems I will just have to wait until I get a full crash...
It just started for me on Sunday when I had installed the new update (probably coincidence). A friend of mine in the same town gets disconnected at about the same time in game :-(

Similar problems for me since Incarna, though sometimes the client doesn't disconnect and i only know i've lost connection when i try to open my wallet and it shows 0 Isk and 0 Aurum. Sometimes i come back from being afk an hour or two and the client is still running but conversations stopped in channels an hour ago.

well it seems the issue has gotten worse I've logged on this week and been through about 4 crashs yesterday I could see there was lag going on when I was running missions yesterday it's like the npcs did'nt even know i'd enter the mission room it's almost like the server lost my connection im not one to complain about a little lag here and there but when it crashs while i run missions then that can be aggravating if it keeps on happening I will be opening a petition.

I've just gone through the whole pingplotter thing myself last night and this morning.

Pingplotter reported really low pings today(I play from England so low pings aren't a surprise) but I was randomly disconnecting in sites or even after a few minutes of just logging in.

Opened my assets window and *BAM* instant crash to login.

Same issue here. Only started since the last patch. Always been fine before that.

I've received a client reboot about four times in the space of an hour and a half. two of those in combat.

Seems to happen when I click on a button or drag an item.

Really frustrating.
