Yesterday, 10 Rifters and 1 Catalyst grouped together, with one common desire: to shoot something.
This small gang ended up chasing a gang with superior numbers, composed of mostly drakes, with ECM support, a dramiel, and a rifter of its own, over 10 jumps.
This larger gang fled at every opportunity, barely keeping ahead of our pack of rifters, until they met up with friendly forces, swelling their numbers to roughly three times our size.
When they had this advantage, they stopped. Destroyed our scout. The rest of our force arrived, and we were each popped, before the drakes were even able to lock onto us.

It was amazingly gratifying.
Chasing down a foe is the greatest feeling.
Especially when the foe is in a larger fleet, with better composition.
