Neocom Dialog Crash

I am on Ubuntu 10.04 LTS 64-bit. I was running EVE on wine, like many other Linux users. However, since the patch, my client crashes as soon as the Neocom window pops up while I try to log into the game. I got through character creation just fine (after the patch) but as soon as I tried to go into the game itself, the little Neocom notification window crashed it. What I'm looking for is a fix, a way to configure Neocom from outside the game or in the character selection window, or a way to stop that window from showing up without being able to hit OK. Any other suggestions are welcome as well.

Edit: Wine v. 1.3, by the way.

Had the same issue and disabling station environment fixed the issue for me.

Disabling station environment is indeed a workaround for station environment crash. The fact that neocom dialog appears right before station loads (and crashes) is a mere coincidence.
