So when will tengus get nerfed???

Tengus need to be nerfed pretty badly they stand as one of the best pvp ships in the game and most over used due to the fact that you can fit battleship class mods on them a 100mnab tengu goes about 2.5k and with bonuses and over heated its about 4k/sec this is horribly ridiculous and they get very good damage as well and it needs a serious nerf!!

It's all about how you fit the ship. It's actually pretty balanced for all the CPU/PG/CAP fittings and then the Highs Mids and Lows.

That person who's flying at 4k per second is very much lacking on another aspect of his ship.

However in normal operating conditions. I would say that the tengu is a bit overpowered but not enough to demand a huge nerf. Just buff the other ships to compete...

P.S. Tengu's are popular because people always seem to think Caldari Ships are better... <_<

when I started eve you saw legions and loki's floating about for pvp. Way the server goes....iirc ccp hasn't touched t3 since apoc (well except projectile buff in dominion maybe).


Should retitle this nerf 100mn prop mod fits. Tengu not the only t3 that does this. Loki in the right hands can pull this off nicely as well.

Every T3 can fit a 100MN AB you dumbass.

Bah, another nerf thread. Seriously, its hyper-expensive for a reason, I'd rather see the other hyper-expensive(T3) ships come in line with the tengu rather then the tengu come down to them...unless of course they multiplied the rate of nano-ribbon drops in the process...but nerf the tengu and you'll see half the galaxy switch back to drakes...oh boy, I'm tired of seeing drakes!

As much as I ******* love the 100mn AB Tengu, you shouldn't be able to fit one on there and by that I don't mean nerf the fitting, I mean just make it so bs class prop mods won't fit on it. As for everything else balance wise the tengu is good. The Proteus has great dps and buffer and long as hell point and scram. Loki has great versitility, good damage selection and long webs.

Legion is just really ****....As for all these "Nerf the Tengu" crys, not gonna happen.

Tengu suck badly as pvp ship, possibly the worst among 4, other than 100mn ab gimmick, which others can use also. It's godlike for pve, but we balance for pvp, not pve.Roll

if you cant handle a 100mn tengu, dont mess with it. easy enough, no?
Int not that such tengus are used by everyone like nanos in the past. One nice thing about eve is that such exotic unconventional fittings are even possible.

The problem is not the Tengu, but the 100MN AB PG requirements.

Many cruisers can fit one of these things. It is not just the Tengu. Yes, the Tengu is more powerful, but it is a cruiser.
