Hi,

I'm actually unable to use the ingame bug reporting tool for this one - applied the patch for UI update and startup seems fine (running windowed or fullscreen, I've tried different settings on Vista x64) including the Esc menu which kicks up fine/lets me mess around.

However, if I type in either the Username or Password field, the game freezes and crashes out to desktop almost instantly. The game reports many users online so I'm not sure whether this is a widespread issue

Ran repair tool, it seemed to be fixing a LOT of stuff (pasted notes below) and on relaunching the client it repatched itself, again, and it still crashes, repair tool again having to restore stuff. Back to square 1, it seems

What repair tool fixes, lots of restoring missing blocks;

No need to paste all that data :)

Same here, and a friend reports the same.

Game freezes the moment you try to enter username or pass, then crashes..

Got the same problem. First I tried on my gaming pc, crashed on entering password. patched the client, repaired etc.
Then when I got to my other pc, same thing. I already redownloaded and installed the client manually and through the sisi launcher, both got the same result. I can however log in to my TQ account so it's definitely SiSi related. Also I've got no problems changing any of the settings in the game either, it's just the 2 fields for username and password that seem to be bugged.

Same problem, SiSi client crashes when trying to type username or password field.

Reinstalled the SiSi client with new download, copy from old client and then patch, nothing works.

Hey!

It seems like we fixed this crash issue internally and a patch with this will be deployed tomorrow.

Please try following workaround for today: Switch your input language to English - it seems like we are having problems with the font of some languages.

Good to see a DEV answer. One problem though, the workaround does not work. Just to be sure I switched all
my input languages to English, Windows/Steam/EVE and some more. It's still not working. Still the same result,
crash on entering password or username.

Hope the patch for tomorrow fixes the problem, though if is the patch online fixes language issues, I fear it's not
gonna work. Any way we'll see tomorrow.

EDIT: only noticed now that people post their OS's, so here's mine: Windows 7 Ultimate SP1 64-bit

Ok as posted a little further up by Athena Silverstar if you copy and paste your username and password (from a notepad doc or something) using right click menu, you can log in - thanks for the suggestion btw

This should be fixed now. Please shout if you still have problems with crashes after updating your client to the current version of Singularity.
