I've seen this and thought it was pretty funny. I like to imagine he was jettisoning everything in an attempt to lighten the load to GTFO.

Suggestion: Get alt in AB Dramiel or something similiar. Have Dramiel come in and gain up with the guy - start orbit. Warp Vargur out, while gaining agro with Dramiel. Now Get Vargur back in and nuke the NPC.
