Sniperboy Attempts Collection on Imaginary Loans, Threatens CCP Intervention.

Our corp is being trolled by an ex-member who was expelled for getting increasingly delusional and disruptive. A few weeks after being kicked he sends the corp leadership a beautifully crafted piece of madness in the form of an eve mail.

A couple of quick notes:

  • I have no memory of sniperboy lending anybody anything, even a single unit of Trit.
  • He was kicked from the corp, by me, for attempting to start a war between our corp and goonswarm (and others).
  • I'm posting this here partially as a warning to others but mostly because it's pure fantasy and may amuse some of you :P
  • The amount he claims we owe him varies greatly between a few million and several trillion isk.

Just read the rules about posting eve mails. Will summarise here shortly instead. Sorry guys :P

Precis of eve mail from sniperboy

  • Sniper feels his leaving the corp "has not been resolved"
  • Billions of ISK are owed to him
  • Threats to "force" us to repay him
  • He is reducing the amount owed from 16 billion to 15 billion, plus 5 billion and a fully fitted phoenix
  • This apparently makes CCP happy, or something (not sure what he means by this)
  • Something about how IOUs cannot be adjusted and something else about adjustable end dates
  • He's willing to "let it go" that he "left" the corp as long as we pay him immediately
  • Finishes by threatening us with telling us that he is going: "to have CCP yank the loan in full with interest."


Icing on the cake, he signs the mail:

I didn't hire him, he was part of the corp long before I joined and I ended up kicking him within a month of taking over the corp and alliance (it wasn't planned that way but he was never going to last long with that kind of attitude).

Its so frustrating when you forget to take your medications and starts to get delusional.

We should all be nice and offer a "get well soon" card to him, or "Mental illness is no joke. We love you anyway" card.

That will show him we really care about him.

Yeah I've not been able to figure his age out for sure, he's been playing eve for over 5 years so I'd guess he's around 17 ish minimum and some of the guys in the corp who heard him on Vent said he sounded older. Still pretty childish behaviour though.

Yeah I do feel kinda sorry for him. He'd have to be on very thin mental ice to think anyone would fall for the stuff he's been trying to pull on us. I hope he sees this and figures that it's just not worth the effort trolling or trying to scam us (or anyone else).

Really I feel no serious ill-will toward the guy since he didn't manage to do any real damage but anyone thinking of trusting him with anything valuable should think again.

Id love to see this ex-member actually try and petition a GM over being stiffed on "loans". Guess he didn't get the memo that scamming is a part of EVE.

My plate is currently full. But there is no reason not to have a chat.

And speaking of my plate being full...my current work is being both uninteresting and paid for as being very 'quiet'. So no blog updates for you!

The next thing that is brewing that is not this guy...promises to be very entertaining. (And, for a change, profitable) So do stay tuned.

i thought you will never play eve again as a protest against monocles ... there are no honorable players in eve anymore :(
