Hey all! I'm just returning to EVE after a couple years, I have almost 4mil SP, and figured instead of wasting time trying to find a corp, I'll just make my own. My main reason is I want to meet new people in this new EVE experience, maybe even in my same situation, without the hassle of starting out in an established corp where everyone alienates you.

My interests, right now I'm doing mining/missions to build up isk, I can fly a T2 fit Drake, and a Retriever. Noctis too, if that's significant. (Just started playing again, remember?) I love PVP, but casually. Maybe a low-sec venture or two every now and then, possibly even a W-hole outing. I'm adept at scanning, and have found W-hole space to be quite profitable, given the correct circumstances. Pretty much what I'm suggesting is a Jack-of-all trades corp, until we get a player base, and we can make a consensus on what we want to aim for. I do plan on implementing a 3-5% tax, but it won't be abused. I believe in Audits. As such, I feel all corp members should be aware of where money is being spent, and will probable have viewing rights to everything at the least. And if corp hangers are used, Audits will be used as well, use at your own risk. I can't tell you how much I hate thieves.

Weed out the bad, in with the good, and lets make a corp worth something!

Hi Caria! It's a good thought but I have a feeling its difficult to try and find people to start a corp with this way. Most people that start new corps do it with people they already know RL and/or with in-game corp mates.
It's hard enough finding people to join a corp, getting them to join a small corp even harder, and a to start up a new corp with someone they don't know... well you have a challange there.
