How do I unsubscribe from notifications?

The notifications box was ticked when I posted on a major thread... now I'm being swamped by notifications on Eve Gate that "yet another person has subscribed to that forum"... how do I remove subscription to notifications?

check under your favourites in the forum section

Go to Eve-Gate
Log in as your pilot
Click on Profile Settings (next to your character photo in the top right corner)
Click on Notification Settings
Uncheck the 4th option down "When somebody posts a reply to a forum thread you subscribed to"

But that affects all threads - if you only want one thread off, you must do as Lady said.
