When is CCP going to let us jump into new clones of a different race/sex?

I see no problem with race or gender changes as long as a name could never change. I'm sure most of us have thought about wanting to switch before, regretted our initial decision. It would also serve as an ISK sink, as in creating new clones of a different construction would cost potentially a bunch of ISK or even AUR, old clones of the unwanted race which have had implants installed would need to be destroyed and replaced as well for a complete change over.

Let's look at the Minmatar for example... the races appearances changed a lot both for Brutor women and the Vherokior
I still have a bottle of Miilla's tears for example over this, and I'm sure there's many more who were upset, so even if only for that reason CCP should allow us at least a one time change.

They aren't.

You do realize what the word clone means, right?

They said they would consider it.

Since Incarna work was put on ice (with only a few people working on it now) chances of it ever happening are slim.

And I'll ask again, do you know what cloning is, or do you have to read the wiki link provided?

And pulling the newbie card is rather silly, seeing as I've been here since Dominion (then again, you may be a 2003 character, so I would still be a newbie to you, but can't tell as you hide behind a forum alt).

Clones, Informorph Psychology skill, you get jump clones which serve as vessels, idea being you jump into a vessel of a different race / gender

I would ask if you are out of your mind, but apparently that is the plan.

Except that isn't cloning, and the vessel you propose would not be a clone of ours.

Learn what cloning is.

Ever heard of DNA?

WoW holds your hand until end game, and gives you a cookie whether you win or lose. EVE not only takes your cookie, but laughs at you for bringing one in the first place...

Any respectable cloning company must take into account the physiological differences between the human races and bloodlines in existence. Each of them has unique DNA imprints that must be replicated so that the transfer process goes as smoothly and with as little deviances as possible. If done properly the unique characteristics and traits that each bloodline has can be kept intact. This is very important during the brain growth process (see below), as the memory restoration is closely linked to the exact neuro-strata layout of the brain tissue, which varies greatly from one bloodline to the next.

You can achieve it now. As you will see, clones can be constructed from cadavers, animal parts and even organic soup. You could easily biomass that pilot and find a fresh one. Either use your saved up ISK to purchase a retired pilot from the market that fits within the bloodline and gender you desire; or start fresh to ensure your skills are trained and fitted to the proper neural receptacles.

Good luck in your shopping trip, pilot!
