Hey, that's cool: Self-discovery is an important part of life.

I stated the basics of my possible platform, and asked for ideas to help flesh out same, and then got trolled by U SUCK! UR BAD! etc., etc., etc.--as expected, frankly.

Sorry, no political career for me, it looks like: My ability to suffer fools only decreases as I age, and enjoyment of eviscerating them only increases in direct proportion.

Spank has not contributed anything remotely constructive to this thread--if it had done so, (even if a bit boorishly--don't worry, I can deal with it, I are big hyoomin!) then I would have engaged with it, but it just spewed its' usual shite--"go biomass yourself, herpity-derpity11!!--that I have neither time nor inclination to bother with.

E: As for making it all about the person--Hey, it seemed to work for the Mittani--he's a skilled political operator, if nothing else.

More detailed ideas (about bloody time, eh?):

I'm pretty big for boosting losec, as you may have gathered.

I think that boosting losec, will of necessity require introducing content exclusive to losec that combines both a PvE/industry and a PvP component (along with existing aspects of the latter, naturally--IOW, more people having incentive to come to losec = more potential urp-splosions for everybody!).

So:

Booster-manufacturing and smuggling thereof (this idea is not original to me, by the way--ref.: former CSM Chair Mynxee's blog-archives).

1) The components for manufacturing boosters are only available in 0.1-0.4 rated systems, available from exploration sites and rat-loot drops. (Not moons: Monopolisation by power-blocs is a bad thing, OK?)

2) Manufacturing of boosters can only be done in losec stations or at properly-configured POS' in losec. More potential for PvP with more potential targets.

3) Smuggler stargate network. Introduce a skill (or re-tool an existing one), call it...I dunno "Forgotten Star-Chart Research" that enables one to learn if/where in a constellation a smuggler stargate exists, then find the system--the gate itself must be probed out--and after each jump, you apply the skill again to help find, and probe out the next. Each higher level of the skill narrows down the location of the gates more, but it's never 100% accurate:

The skill only gives you knowledge of which constellations the network--that particular "lost back-road," if you like--starts and ends at, each gate along the way must be probed, and their locations in their systems changes--you jump, it could drop you in the middle of nowhere, or it could drop you right into the arms of a waiting NPC Customs fleet or player gate camp. In any case, slower travelling, and exploration are required, so risk to go with the potential ISKies from selling the boosters in hisec, and competition involved in getting there first. (Oh, and also re-seed that skill--whose name escapes me atm--that reduced the chance of Customs scanning you in hisec.)

Additional losec content:

NPC pirate-faction agents--at least the level 1 ones--moved to losec, leave the highest level ones in NPC-zerosec. Booster-components/BPCs would be among their LP-store rewards.

So, that should do for a beginning. Any thoughts?

E: Additional losec, general:

One thing that's always shat me about this game is this: losec is supposed to be a more-or-less unrestricted PvP-zone, so why, in the name of Dog, do you take a security-status hit for...you know, engaging in freakin' PvP in a freakin' PvP zone??? Podding, OK, that should carry a harsh penalty IMHO, but penalties for aggression and/or ship-kill should be, if not eliminated, then at least markedly reduced. I'm sure there are many hisec "carebears" who would love to go to losec and PvP their asses off, but find trashing their sec--and the grating NPC-grinding to bring it back up--to be a disincentive.

With reference to your statement of eviscerating them - claiming something does not make it true. Thus far you have come across as a petulant prawn, squirming on the end of a fork and flinging poop everywhere because people did not bow down and worship as you desired. That is my perception, at least and it seems to be similar to the reaction of others based off their responses here.

Whilst I fully expect a reply explaining how incredibly clever you are and how the rest of the world consists of ignorant fools and that you have once again shown another idiot that you are so much superior; it might be worthwhile to reconsider your approach. Especially if you have ideas that you wish to communicate that could fit very well in Features and Ideas. However, if you have no desire to communicate your ideas - perhaps you could refrain from spewing your discontented verbiage all over the forums, please?

It is starting to get very annoying having a useless bunch of crud boosted to the top of the forum list, when there are other, more enlightening discussions to partake in.

We dont need horde of VIP-s caled CSM members look at login scren and look at numbers of loged people, we need normal people who play EvE not horde of people who give to us tons new ideas etc, we have solid basic rules in EvE we dont need super changes.
