Hello

Im not so new, but im newb to trading...

Ive found out a formula for tax reduction based on standings towards specific faction... ok great :D

Can someone tell me empirical optimal value of standings to to grind in order to achieve low tax in NPC corp stations...

Thank you

thought it was +6.66 (or 6.67 to be "sure") ... or is that just for refining taxes?

Though, you'll never actually get sales tax and broker fees to 0.00% -- IIRC, it bottoms out at somewhere around 0.2 - 0.25%

One of the bitter points of a good bittervet is the realisation that all those SP don't really do much, and that the newbie is having much more fun with what little he has. - Tippia

6.67 is the refining tax number.

Sales tax is the accounting skill only.

for the broker fee, you'll need high faction /and/ corp standing.

I'm not entirely sure if it still applies, but someone worked out:

BrokerFee% = e^(ln(1 - (0.05 * Broker Relations Skill Level)) - (0.1 * Faction Standing) - (0.04 * Corp Standing))

Are you sure standing doesn't affect sales tax, on top of Accounting skill?

Nope. But it's supported by what I've been reading. I've not checked in game. but it should be simple to, just try selling the same thing, at the same price, in 2 different stations. , with 2 different factions (assuming you have different standings with them)
