Anyone/fleet firing at the mothership become a valid target to anyone in the area.

Let the war begin.

Let anyone in ANY Incursion site become a valid target....why only limit it to Motherships?

Nah. Concord should just not respond in incursion systems. The place is over run with pirates after all! Why would they have time to deal with capsuleers shooting each other... *again*?

The Idea here is to give a chance to conflicts to escalate. Something like "if you wanna farm you gotta move your ass and protect the mother".

Anyone failing to see that will never get laid.

If anyone deserves CONCORD protection it is the ones shooting at the mothership.

I have 2 kids. Your assertion about not agreeing with you leading to no sex ever is hereby disproved.

Plus every other idea in this thread makes more sense than yours. Why should the MOM be some special class of NPC that players are allowed to defend against other players? Because you want it to be is not a valid answer. If they can defend the MOM, they should be allowed to side with Sansha and defend any of their ships or as I claim, no CONCORD because they'd be busy busy dealing with a pirate invasion. I really don't think they'd care if a few capsuleers decided to shoot each other in the incursion zone.

Because the new trend is to kill the moms to end the incursions as fast as possible. That's a great opportunity CCP should jump on for extra ship explosions and conflicts.

Erm yes, but killing the MOM ends the incursion WHICH IS THE WHOLE POINT! It was NEVER intended to farm lower end sites and milk Concord ;)

Not killing the MOM as soon as possible to give more time to farm is the questionable behavior, if any can be questioned. This new breed of incursion runner isn't exploiting anything, they're freeing entire constellations from the grasps of murderous pirates! We should be praising their valiant efforts to protect New Eden.

And obviously I'm not bragging on the internet about children a fathered via a sperm bank but lets not make this personal. Instead lets ridicule your obviously self serving, stupid idea.

Yes yes YES! That's the point, the guys fleeting to kill the mother ASAP being called the new incursion griefers, with a few twick here and here they could give a chance to incursions to escalate into war grounds between incursions farmers and anti incursions farmers without having to go though all the wardecs and suicides.

You are doing it backwards. Everyone farming VGs should become valid targets when the mothership spawns. That would make much more sense from CONCORDs perspective.

so you want to penalize someone for playing the game as it was intended?

if you're not supposed to shoot moms they shouldn't spawn.

In answer to the last two posts, I never ran an incursion of my life, I prefer jetcan mining in my hulk around jita (on this char if you wanna chat with me).

You always see people complaining about how high-sec pvp is broken and nobody dares go to null etc etc, so I was just thinking about ways to make conflicts escalate and my mineral more profitable.

I say if you are on grid for any incursion you should be open for PvP with no CONCORD intervention and no sec changes or GCC. Simple as that. Treat the grid for the incursion as though it is 0.0 space.

but that kind of flies in the face of the fact that you are there at Concord's request doing the job they apparently can't do themselves.

how do you justify giving out concord LP while allowing that same mechanic to flag you as a criminal or for them to ignore local sec and let someone pod you.

you're working for concord, it stands to reason you get their support
